Belgrade Waterfront criticized, "lex specialis" sent to MPs

The Serbian government has submitted a draft "lex specialis" (special law) regarding the Belgrade Waterfront Project to parliament for urgent adoption.

The timetable for this project has always been fanciful. In the UK a project of this sze would take at least 5 years to plan and then another 5 - 10 years to complete. From the start, politicians have been promising an immediate start and quick progress. Apart from the removal of redundant railway tracks I can't see much progress. Has an architect been appointed to design these buildings? I have seen no announcement of any contracts signed. I think the whole project is a fraud, something like theSerbian Solar Park project. The more I see of Vucic, the more I yearn for Gavrilo Princip.
