One year ago that argument would have legs. Recent events in Ukraine have ended all speculation about the need for NATO.

BTW - Communiasm may or may not be dead. But one thing is very certain - CommunISTS are still very much alive and kicking/

I hope Montenegro's Serbs should express their view of joining NATO.NATO is Western military alliance solely created after World War 2 to defend Western Europe from SSSR.SSSR and communism is all but dead everywhere in Europe so there is no need for that Alliance anymore.Montenegro is small country of approximately 650,000. can not afford the membership in that high price organization.Purchasing and maintaining NATO'S military hardware is far beyond the capacity of that small,economically struggling NAtion.
