It is no insuation to say that Putin has killed press freedom and acted against legitimate opposition.

Putin has opened the nationalist bag, and soon it may overwhelm him.
(Bob, 8 March 2015 01:21)

You may blather on about lack of democracy, freedom of the press, etc. in Russia but you conveniently avoid considering the growing lack of 'freedom' in the West. Between CCTV, personal and vehicle tracking by GPS, internet/phone spying by govt., appalling indignities inflicted on all trying to fly anywhere, there is little 'freedom' left to brag about.
Putin is a far more accomplished operator than any Western politician and runs rings round the E.U. and it's laughable expansionist agenda which has caused much tragedy in Ukraine. He may not be a nice man but he is probably what Russia needs.

BTW I will always post whatever I am comfortable with.Get over it.

I think you've lost it.

Just mind your manners in future. I am surprised that B92 allows you to be abusive.

Still, your buttons are easily pushed, and I do feel inclined to do it again sometime.

Your hypocricy knows no bounds.Of course you didn't blame Putin. You just insinuate he was responsible with your repeated "who killed Nemtsov" postings on unrelated articles.Your historical postings are also a proof that you always seem to approve those who brand the Russian leader as some 'new Stalin or Hitler, the sort of shoddy and threadbare historical cliches always trotted out by the ignorant crowd with a limited or no understanding of history. As to your points you've raised :
1. Prior to 2006 there were more than 30 parties in Russia, but many of them were subsequently closed down because they didn’t meet the legal requirements. Today there are only 7 left which are more than adequate to provide opposition to Putin (You don't seem to be concerned with the absence of any political parties in US for that matter).Bear in mind that the major opposition party in Russia are the communists!
2 As to your free debate it depends what do you mean by the term.Anti-Putin protests took place during and directly after the presidential campaign but all of them were western orchestrated and were not driven by ideology or purpose.
3.I think the Russian media isn't less freer than the likes of Murdoch Press in US or the state media channels in UK,France & Germany.I have watched a number of debates on Russian media with invited guests from western academia and business.
4. What's wrong with Putin giving speeches? Are you against Western leaders giving speeches? of course not.

I never blamed Putin for this killing.

Maybe it's your paranoia at work here.

Your posts burble like a ranting idiot.

By the way, I am nothing to do with any of the organisations you mention.

However, Putin is responsible for running a highly bigoted national TV service, and is behind the supression of many Russian news organisations. My comments are therefore pertinent as a criticism of Putin for the way he treats opposition.

Maybe that atmosphere does have a direct link to the killing, even if Putin didn't want it.

Could you please go through my list 1, 2, 3 & 4 and explicitly let us know what and why you reject each item?

Nemtsev is just another victim of the increasingly paranoid dictator Putin. Just look at the long list of Putin's perceived enemies who have met untimely gruesome deaths, these include journalists, opposition politicians and outspoken private Russian citizens who have bravely chosen to criticize the diminutive and insecure Vlad. This list of victims include those living inside totalitarian Russia as well as those living in the West. For those still in denial, such as Leonidis, just ask yourselves, who would benefit by all these murders and the answer will be painfully obvious!

What is it you are against?
(Bob, 5 March 2015 13:35)

I am against CIA trolls like yourself which get paid to advance the choreography of Fox News,CNNN,BBC in matters concerning not just Russia but the world peace. Your continuous insinuation on various articles on this site that Nemtsov’s murder ,however ugly, was carried out on Putin’s orders confirmed that your level of intelligence surpassed of that of Sherlock Holmes. The truth of the matter is you have no idea who killed Mr. Nemtsov and neither does anyone else in this thread, whether pro- or anti-Putin, but the one thing we can know for certain is that his murder should not be used to fan the flames of war hysteria against Russia. The reality is, of course, that Putin faces no present threat from within the Russian elite, since anti-Russian western dupes like Nemtsov have little popular support, and the others know that they have no plausible candidate to replace Putin and no realistic alternative policy to adopt if he were replaced that would not quickly end in catastrophe. So the reality (as opposed to your self-serving fantasy leading you to leap aboard the Western media bandwagon), is that it is at least as likely that this was a personal killing, whether motivated by hatred for Nemtsov's politics or not, rather than one by the government for policy reasons.

What is it you are against?

1 respecting internal opposition?
2 encouraging free debate?
3 encouraging a free press?
4 Putin giving speeches?

Perhaps Mr Putin would also like to make a speech about the importance of respecting internal opposition, encouraging free debate, and encouraging a free press. (Bob, 4 March 2015 15:09)

Only CNN/Fox zombies write such things or give them their “likes” ! In Russia we have no pro-western opposition as it has discredited itself by selling this country many times. “Liberal” is a swearing name here and very often it is used as LIBERASTS i.e. a combination of two words LIBERAL+PEDERAST. In Russian language PEDERAST has two meanings a GAY (5%) or a BAD MAN (95%) , because a gay is always a bad man. We have very free press and other media with everyday debates on all the channel. People from the west are always invited there. So only people who knows nothing still believe that Putin is the evil of the world. 90% of Russian opposition are much more radical than Putin. They demand to register western grant-eaters as foreign agents but putin stops them. They demand to invade Ukraine but Putin stops them, they call for nationalization of the stolen state property but Putin says no ect. So Putin is the most western minded politician here. You just know nothing. Yesterday when Obama prolonged the sanctions Alexey Pushkov asked McDonalds and Coca Cola to support their president and abandon Russia. Please stop crying for the Moon as Russia will never be same as 20 years ago.

Amazing, as soon as something happens in Russia, Putin is always pronounced guilty before any investigation has taken place.
Judging by the two comments already on here some people on this site already know he is guilty of this crime too.
No need to investigate anything, just ask some of contributors to this site.

Bob you are an idiot, yes, a hard working Idiot who spends many hours working the net promoting the views (pseudo-free press ,pseudo-democracy)of those who pay you, or perhaps you just do it because you like it, you have that single minded determination of the partisan true believer! But, belief wont save you, or any else if civilization becomes unglued! Try and stretch your view and see a bigger picture, stop being one of the sheeple, get on the side of reason, if that is possible, of course, if you can't well 'so be it'.
