"As for Kirov(Kostikov) he was a good man but he was killed during sex with his secretary on the floor of his own cabinet and he was killed by her husband Nikolaev. It was the only “political” murder during Stalin."

No he wasn't and no he wasn't the only one

Sergey Kirov, a leader of the Russian Revolution and a high-ranking member of the Politburo, is shot to death at his Leningrad office by Communist Party member Leonid Nikolayev, likely at the instigation of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.

The similarities between this and the murder of Sergey Kirov are chilling as some have equated Putin to a modern-day Stalin.

people like Nemetsov are branded as 'enemies of the state' (such a shame, Comm. Parrisson) … involving the death of a Putin critic. (LK,) … this and the murder of Sergey Kirov are chilling as some have equated Putin to a modern-day Stalin. (What does Rote have to say?)

You all look helpless and miserable and none of you has any arguments worth of being discussed. One is justifying the gang that has robbed my country. 70 000 objects including Sibneft , Gazprom (43%), Yukos , Lukoil ect were privatized at the cost of USD 9 Bln. while small Hungary sold 30% of their state property at the price of USD 27 Bln. ? Who was at the helm in the times when Abramoviches became billionaires ? Nemtosv and the kind were and Yeltsyn even declared him to be the next president.

It was the only “political” murder during Stalin. By the way Putin is still far from Stalin because we still wait for the results of his policy while Stalin de facto was the most influential man in the world. Stalin is the most popular politician in this country for last 100 years while Putin as I suppose comes next. Putin’s ratings reached 86% last week while Stalin in the end of his life enjoyed more.

You name it: In a healthy society. In Russia, on the other hand, people like Nemetsov are branded as 'enemies of the state' in the official Kremlin propaganda outlets like Russia Today, which is not unusual for those regimes. In Turkey, for example, it's not much different.

And daily the Serbian govt inches closer to the same type government of Russia!

To further prove my point just read the article about the indictment of the gendarmes who dared to try to prevent Vucic's brother and entourage from making a show at the Gay Pride parade.
If that does not bring to mind of Putin politics nothing will.

I'm sure this will be thoroughly investigated and the perpetrators will be brought to justice like the dozens of other cases involving the death of a Putin critic.

Zannier said that "peaceful opposition should be cherished and cultivated in any healthy society, and be protected and safe from any violence or intimidation.
