Aleks, I am not an ICJ judge and I believe you are not either. We will let them decide if there was genocide or not. When the time comes, we will present our facts, you will present yours. We will bring the UN reports of the time, three UNSC resolutions, live footage from TV stations, and the Hague proceedings. You will bring "there was no time to do it".
You can say whatever you want about how many people were driven out, why they were driven out, etc etc. I was there, however, and remember very well what happened. There was a lot of time to do it, the Serbian army was not fighting the KLA. The KLA, with its Albanian produced AK47s, which melted within 2 minutes when firing, was no match for the Serbian military with all its weaponry inherited (i.e. stolen) from the carcass of Yugoslavia. They were not fighting any NATO on the ground, there was no NATO on the ground.
I invite you to go to Gjakova Aleks, and see what the Serbian army did in the "little time" it had.
Unlike you I was born in the country I live. These are only my comment on a particular situation, but if I am wrong please tell us all when the US of Piss and Wind will arm Ukraine to subdue the Russian rebellion?

I love the country I live in. You on the other hand love Russia but would rather not live there. That's my point.
As for Russia. History has proven time and time again that Russia goes bankrupt after a few decades a dictator stays in power. Give it another 10-20 years and Putin will ruin Russia and bankrupt it. Just like any Russian dictator has done before him. Then there will be millions of Russian immigrants. Name your own revolution. Then a new dictator comes to power. Rinse and repeat. Reader, there was no genocide. There was not this mass murder of Albanians. No doubt there were Albanians killed, and there were Serbs killed by Albanians and the KLA. You can ignore those facts, but it's true. There were not these mass graves with thousands of Albanians found. The graves found were not on a scale of genocide by either party. As for the refugees...well, there is absolutely no way that Serbs are able to drive out 1 million Albanians, while fighting the KLA, while fighting NATO. The great majority of those Albanians left as refugees after the bombing started and most was pushed as a propaganda weapon. They claimed to have been driven out yet none of them were pushed out by any soldiers. If genocide was being committed, most wouldn't have made it out. Before you say not possible, well, recently we had close to 200,000 Albanians from Kosovo migrating out of there. So it is possible. Kosovo's Albanians are absolutely not innocent victims as they claim to be, and mark my words this will be thrown out too. If you think it won't, you're foolish.
The Hague itself is a puppet aparatus. Not for the Serbs who were sent there and convicted. More so for those that were released or not convicted. It's a joke, but hey, it will allow people to claim innocence.

The so called judicial system in Kosovo is so bad that the EU continues to have a very close supervision over it. In fact the EU initiated an investigation into the judiciary and even they were shocked to learn that the Albanian judges were all basically clan based when handing down decisions.
The facts are that all the investigations were conducted by EULEX and I would let them investigate a stolen can of Coke let alone this. Any proper investigation would disclose that a French diplomat was involved in that illegal activity. Can you imagine the stink if it came out that one of France’s senior diplomats who was in charge of Kosovo was involved and gained benefit from that activity?
Once again, this genocide case is only a diversionary tactic by Pristina. No jobs, unemployment extremely high, people leaving in their tens of thousands.

The fact is that every investigation so far has been rigged to reach a conclusion that we all knew would reveal NOTHING. Who in their right minds would ask an organisation that is close to one or the other parties to investigate such a claim? Only those that want it covered up, that’s who!

a GUT BUSTING response: If I remember correctly when Serbia was asking for yet another investigation into the organ harvesting claims against the KLA eventhough there had been 3 investigations that turned up Zilch, and Kosovo Albanians were balking about it, the Serbian response on here was that IF the Albanians were innocent then they should welcome an investigation to clear their name. But since they were "afraid" of another investigation showed their guilt.
Why would this be any different. If Serbia is not liable for reparations for war crimes, they should be eager to prove their case in court!

First, In Bosnia and Croatia, Milosevic used the local Serbs as proxies and did not involve the state of Serbia directly. Like Russia is doing now in Ukraine. Some of the highest Serbian army commanders were condemned by the Hague some time ago.

There was a lot of time to do it, the Serbian army was not fighting the KLA. The KLA, with its Albanian produced AK47s, which melted within 2 minutes when firing, was no match for the Serbian military with all its weaponry inherited (i.e. stolen) from the carcass of Yugoslavia. They were not fighting any NATO on the ground, there was no NATO on the ground.
I invite you to go to Gjakova Aleks, and see what the Serbian army did in the "little time" it had.
I see a lot of panic on Serbian side. Why are you afraid if Kosova files a suit, and if you think your hands are clean, why worry!?

As for Russia. History has proven time and time again that Russia goes bankrupt after a few decades a dictator stays in power. Give it another 10-20 years and Putin will ruin Russia and bankrupt it. Your leaders are only diverting your attention from the crises that has been getting worse since 1999 in Kosovo relating to poverty and joblessness and the fact that your allies have not done one thing to improve that situation.
The so called judicial system in Kosovo is so bad that the EU continues to have a very close supervision over it. In fact the EU initiated an investigation into the judiciary and even they were shocked to learn that the Albanian judges were all basically clan based when handing down decisions.
The facts are that all the investigations were conducted by EULEX and I would let them investigate a stolen can of Coke let alone this. Any proper investigation would disclose that a French diplomat was involved in that illegal activity. Can you imagine the stink if it came out that one of France’s senior diplomats who was in charge of Kosovo was involved and gained benefit from that activity?

The Albanians fleeing Kosovo-Metohija right now have the KLA to blame, as well as Western governments for feeding you fantasies. For a while, there were billions in post-war grants. But all that money has dried up and you forgot to read the fine print that "recognition" from the West means no more free lunches from them.

It's not about being a "clean politician" in the present sense, Thaci is a KLA terrorist who committed mass atrocities against Serbian civilians in Kosovo-Metohija and profited off their organs after killing them. It doesn't get more sick than that. The fact that he hasn't even been indicted, never mind convicted, shows everything you need to know about the value of justice over at the ICTY.
But Croatia and Bosnia did sue Serbia for genocide. And even the anti-Serb ICTY found Serbia not guilty in both cases. In Bosnia they did convict Bosnian Serbs specifically, but even that was highly politicized bullshit.

In case you missed it, a genocide lawsuit brought forward by Bosnia against Serbia was dismissed and deemed not genocide, as well as the Croatian suit being dismissed just recently. A suit filed by Serbia against Croatia was also dismissed. This lawsuit by Kosovo is just a huge puppet show for Thaci to look good amongst his people so he can stay in power longer. Pristina will also have this dismissed. It's a smoke and mirrors by Thaci to satisfy the public and divert attention away from all the problems.
I always supported a united Class Action lawsuit to be filed by Slovenia,Croatia,Bosnia and Kosova to bring to Justice Greater Serbia's Terror Campaign .

a GUT BUSTING response: If I remember correctly when Serbia was asking for yet another investigation into the organ harvesting claims against the KLA eventhough there had been 3 investigations that turned up Zilch, and Kosovo Albanians were balking about it, the Serbian response on here was that IF the Albanians were innocent then they should welcome an investigation to clear their name. But since they were "afraid" of another investigation showed their guilt.
Why would this be any different. If Serbia is not liable for reparations for war crimes, they should be eager to prove their case in court!

First, In Bosnia and Croatia, Milosevic used the local Serbs as proxies and did not involve the state of Serbia directly. Like Russia is doing now in Ukraine. In Kosovo, he involved the state apparatus, army, police, in brutally murdering thousands and burning their houses and sending almost 1 million people outside the borders to Albania, Macedonia, and Montenegro. We all want to throw the KLA out of the government, that is clear from the albanian side. We are definitely not happy with out government as we deserve better people in the government.

Aleks, I am not an ICJ judge and I believe you are not either. We will let them decide if there was genocide or not. When the time comes, we will present our facts, you will present yours. We will bring the UN reports of the time, three UNSC resolutions, live footage from TV stations, and the Hague proceedings. You will bring "there was no time to do it".
