"5. What benefits would it serve Serbia, the people there no more want to be controlled by Serbia than Pristina. They have been lawless for far too long and they want to stay that way."

Just like in whole Kosovo where the only rule of law is the law of mafia. How else could Kosovo become Europe's main drug hub if the mafia groups were not protected by Kosovo government and excemp from prosecution by justice? Which is not surprising since the local mafia clans make up the home base of the Pristina politicians.

Serbia should just take back northern Kosovo with the assistance of the Russian and Belarusan Military.

With a voice of reason like that, if you are not writing from inside an institution then please go check yourself in immediately!
1. Serbia does not want North Kosovo, it would lose its leverage on controlling the Albanians future, the true goal of Serb actions.
2. Physically taking North Kosovo would end Serbian EU future and isolate it from ALL its surrounding countries.
3. NATO has a mandate from the UNSC to protect all of Kosovo, this would put Russia and NATO in a direct military conflict which could eventually explode into WW3, doubtful Russia would do that for Serbia.
This is unlike the Ukrainian crisis where both sides deny participation and there is no direct conflict between NATO forces and Russian forces.
4. Where did the Belarussian support come from? Have they suddenly started pledging military support from Serbia?

Serbia already 'has' Northern Kosovo-Metohija. But they operate independently both from Belgrade and Pristina because they do not agree with Belgrade's politics. Pristina is unable to occupy this part of Kosovo-Metohija. Only NATO-KFOR can. Pristina tried and failed in 2011, miserably.
(Ari Gold, 4 February 2015 23:16)"

Keep spinning Ari......no invasion occurred. An ambush on a lightly armed group of ROSU in soft vehicles that was heading to the border to try and enforce customs collections is what happened. Spin it all you want you just can't spin the spits off that leopard.

"One important step would be for the government and the Assembly to move swiftly on the adoption of the legislation concerning the establishment of a special court to try cases arising from the findings of the European Union Special Investigative Task Force, as agreed between Kosovo and the European Union,” Ban said in his regular quarterly report published on the UN official web site.

Somehow funny to expect that as long as those people who were allegedly responsible for the 'findings' turned into politicians and ARE the government. And of course the hardworking Kosovo government has so much more important things to do than to setting up a war crime court! For example it is much more important to dismiss a minister who called a group of people who tried to stone another group of people 'savages'. You must understand that, Mr. UN general secretary.

The criminals that run Kosovo are busy intimidating and getting rid of witnesses. Once all the witnesses have disappeared or are too afraid to testify, then the court will be established. Just another day in the democratic freedom loving utopia of Kosovo.
