Putin won't look for the diplomatic decision will believe in military defeat of the Ukrainian army so far.
Refusal of military aid to Ukraine will stop Putin? It is silly. Lack of the weapon at the opponent never stopped an aggressor. Arms supplies from Russia proceed. Not to provide weapons for Ukraine simply increases Russia's temptation to escalate the intervention
Russian separatist don't want a better life for the Donbas residents. They are just in it for the fight and don't care who gets killed.
If Ukraine receives weapons and Putin will stop the Russian separatist will agree about the termination of military operation. Without it any diplomatic decision waits for a fate of the Minsk and Budapest Memorandum.

you failing to see any wrong doing in Ukraine by the West, as if they don't have any responsibility whatsoever in the matter and did nothing wrong.
There was, however plenty of wrongdoing on their part.
The way out would be through talks and negotiations, not through conflict weather by military or economic means.
Time for serious talks to take place and for people of Ukraine to suffer less, regardless of their political orientation.

the illegal invasion of HATO in Kosovo brought a criminal mafia organization into power and redrawing borders of Serbia by force. Didn't seem to bother the west then? Or is it do as I say not as I do scenario you are referring to? The absolute stupidity of the west and it's zombie population. actually believes Russia has no right defending Russians per their interests in Eastern Ukraine against Kiev and nato mercenary army. Yet...fully support arming yet another nation with western.military supplies...who are not Americans? wtf?

"We still think that the best way to influence Russia's calculus is through those economic sanctions that are biting deep into the Russian economy," Deputy White House national security adviser Ben Rhodes said on Monday in an interview with CNN.

Yes, this conflict won't be solved my more weapons, on the other hand, I don't think that the Russian aggressor who invaded eastern Ukraine with irregular forces and supports the separatists/terrorists with heavy weapons will be expelled by only sanctions. The long-term result might be the insight that aggression and trying to change existing borders by force won't pay off.
