Hahaha, well they had 11 years to convict Seselj and they couldn't. I wouldn't vote for him, but he did a damn good job proving his innocence and making fools out of the anti-Serb kangaroo court ICTY. Kitarovic is further demonstrating that she is ill-equipped to lead a European country in the modern era. She is so obsessed with her nationalistic campaign against Serbia that her first official action is to demand that Sesilj be sent back to the Hague. And Croats everywhere applaud her as their tough talking leader. All while the country is crumbling around her. Can any Croat on this sight tell me what her economic platform is to reduce the sky high unemployment among the country's young and educated? What is her strategy to attract foreign investment? These are issues that she should be concerned with. Instead she is fixated on Sesilj, as are most Croats. Is it any wonder that Coatia is sinking further into to Adriatic a little more each day.

75 years ago, just yesterday, the extermination of well over one million Eastern Orthodox Serbian civilians by Croation Ustasa under the direction of Hitler and the blessing of the Holy Roman Catholic Empire! Did Serbia and Serbian people already forget? What is Serbia and Serbian government doing today to prevent the next Serbian Eastern Orthodox holocost? Serbian government today needs only to be focused on full unification with Russia and the highest advancement in military technology and weapon systems to protect the Serbian territory that is left and protect all Serbian citizens within the remaining territories of Serbia! The war that was ignited by USA, England, Germany, International Community, Roman Catholic Empire in the 1990's continues, it never ends for Serbia! All Eastern Orthodox Slavic people in Europe are in great danger now more than ever before! The thrist of our Eastern Orthodox blood by our evil and ancient enemies continues with sadistic vengence! Why must Serbia kneel before Satan when it can stand above evil with the Sword of Redemption? The tragedies that happened in the past to Serbia must not be permitted to happen again! Yes, I remember what Croation Ustasa did to my family living peacefully for ages on their sacred Malo Kosovo 75 years ago! Yes, I understand what my fellow Serbian Brothers and Sisters are tolerating today in Veliko Srpsko Kosovo just like Malo Kosovo, our Eastern Orthodox blood being sucked out by Satanic evil.

I don't know if Seselj is innocent or guilty, but I've never heard of any detention and trial lasting for over a decade.

The normal, and logical, rule has to be that the more evidence there is, the speedier the trial.

And no one is so clever as to be able to delay proceedings for that long.

I suspect that this letter is just another attempt by certain Croatian leaders to keep their country's hatred of all things Serbian going for as long as possible in light of the fact that they now understand the true consequences of their so-called 'independence' back in 1991 and are suffering from severe cognitive dissonance as a result.

The proponents and founders of Yugoslavia, Serb, Croat or otherwise, must be turning in their graves at this total abdication of freedom by the South Slav people.

This is a typical Croatian response of newly elected President of Croatia.It is not as much about Seselj but lots to do with future relations with Serbia.Newly elected President's letter to secretary general of UN was inappropriate but in Croatian mind it was important to let World know the "champion of civil and human rights" is ready to take rein in Balkan and expecting congratulatory response on HER election from Secretary General Ban Ki-MOON

Not a Croat but the president in european countries is largely a ceremonial role. There's not much Kolinda (or Nikolic, for that matter) can do for their respective countries.

It was pretty ridiculous watching the presidential candidates debating and promising the moon and the stars. The one who promised more moon and more stars ended up winning by 0.4%

Seselj should be grateful to the Serbophobes of all kinds. Thanks to them he’ll be returned to Hague under no conditions now. Also they all tribute to the Radicals’ future electoral campaigns. Grabar-Kitarovic is a US made Otpor type politician so Croats have no president of their own. And from this point of view they became closer to the EU. With total independence term of some 30 years ( 3 + 4 + 23 ) they seems to dislike this taste of freedom. Besides they have to deal with those whom they very often hate or despise. Congratulations but Seselj will stay here in any case !

No count in the original indictment has been proven by the prosecution. Many counts have been removed and the indictment amended/revised between 2003 and 2007. That the ICTY circus spent 4 pre-trial years modifying and amending an indictment is ... you know ... laughable. This is only one minor exhibit of complete judicial incompetence by the ICTY clowns, which Seselj convincingly proved.

I don't know if Seselj is innocent or guilty, but I've never heard of any detention and trial lasting for over a decade.
