Croatian presidential candidate on conditions for Serbia

Croatian society is fixated on Serbia, completely obsessed. Every single day in Croatian media there are tons of stories on Serbia. Croatian presidential candidates have to outdo each other on who can sound the most anti-Serbian. There are no discussions on Croatia's faltering economy or the tens of thousands of jobs lost just since EU membership, nope its completely circulated around Serbia. Seselj, a dying old man came home after proving his innocence in the Hague and it completely rattled Croatia. One politician talked about moving troops to the border out of fear of Seselj.

They simply cannot get their minds off of us. To the Ustashe I say worry about your own issues of which you have a lot. To the Croatian women I say keep visiting Serbia to receive what you are clearly lacking in Zagreb.

First round, normal, rational, even, intellectual Josipovic and hysterical, strident, populist, nationalistic Kolinda won almost 50/50 with the early-20's kid, aptly named "Sinčić" getting 16% of the vote, most of it in protest (like the "white-listers" in Serbia) and the hard-right getting 6%.

In the second round, it's still neck-and-neck and the rhetoric is all kinds of stupid all over the place. The Croatian president CAN'T make a problem for Serbia in the EU (or do really much of anything, for that matter). Like Serbia, it's mostly a ceremonial role.

That said, of all the ridiculous rhetoric coming out of the Croatian presidential election, I'm surprised that B92, picked this to make an article on their English-language side.

No comments about the Croatian veterans' protest and their ridiculous factor-of-rhetoric, no reporting about that ridiculous priest, Stojcic and his inflammatory sermon to the veteran-protesters about how doctors "from across the Danube" are being paid to "kill Croatia children", ie. perform abortions.

The Croatian presidential elections are a gong-show of ridiculous rhetoric, B92. Surely you could have picked something better than this to inflame the big-Serb-in-Australia-and-USA crowd.

For that matter, no reporting from the other side (which is just as strong as HDZ/Kolinda) admonishing and warning Croats that no-one wants a return to the 90s

More specifically, and I will point this out every single time this same bs comes out, with the full entry in to force of the Lisbon Agreement in November of 2014, all areas - with the exception of foreign policy - come under Qualified Majority Voting (QMV) in Brussels. To make this clear to the cretins out there, that includes 'Enlargement'. No more member state vetoes. Unless it is Germany of course.

Croatian presidential candidates have to outdo each other on who can sound the most anti-Serbian. There are no discussions on Croatia's faltering economy or the tens of thousands of jobs lost just since EU membership, nope its completely circulated around Serbia. Seselj, a dying old man came home after proving his innocence in the Hague and it completely rattled Croatia. One politician talked about moving troops to the border out of fear of Seselj.

They simply cannot get their minds off of us. To the Ustashe I say worry about your own issues of which you have a lot. To the Croatian women I say keep visiting Serbia to receive what you are clearly lacking in Zagreb.

How about Serbs return missing Croats from the time of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia 1918-1943? The Croatian government is not the sole successor of NDH the way Serbia is the successor of Yugoslavia. Once the Nazis were gone, so was the puppet state. Where as Yugoslavia transformed into Serbia as ti is today. Serbs keep comparing the two as the same scenarios but foolishly don't realize these are totally different situations. Whatever Ustase new of the missing persons were rounded up and executed by Tito's men and put in mass graves, so there goes any chance of that. Where as Serbia has records from the war in the 1990's. You think you are clever and witty, but actually show as a baboon. ;)

Neigos....the topic was who helped Croatia in there bid for Independence. Not about ethnic Croats in Bosnia.

Get your self straight and stick to the subject matter.
