Of course Germany can accept that without any Lisbon Treaty changes. The Lisbon Treaty governs how many votes are needed, not how Member States should vote :)

There is nothing in the libraries of The EU on European disintegration.Even the British UKIP who fantasise to leave the EU altogether hardly ever contemplate the practicalities of it.The Lisbon treaty envisaged members leaving voluntarily but national governments fear that any talk of a country's ejection will open a can of worms.

why?

Germany received 50% debt relief in 1953 to which Greece signed up despite the death of 300000 of its citizens under Nazi occupation.Again when Germany's economy was in the doldrums in the early 2000s ith nominal wages going down the ECB obliged immediately by cutting interest rates and raising inflation rates in the rest of EU,thus enabling German economy to recover and screwing the rest of the EU.

Because they are God's chosen and so they can overspend while the hard-working Germans pay Greece's bills?

I am sure you can produce a report from the German ministry of finance showing the sums in detail that Germany contributed to Greece's bills.

"why"

Because the EU is all about fudge, nothing more than a bunch of spineless crooks and marionettes controlled by Washington and the euro scam is kept alive by the state of the art scam machine aka the FED.Germany will do as she's told by the US.
More worthless toilet paper to be printed for the masses.

Luckily we in Montenegro doesn't have these kind of problems. Our very competent leader Djukanovic has guaranteed that we will keep the Euro as currency despite some less fortunate countries that cant handle their economy. If Croatia improves their economy and fights corruption they to can have the Euro, both of our countries would earn money if they didn't need to change their Kuna to Euro in business dealings.

Germany was prepared to accept Greece's possible departure from the eurozone,

Not unless they change the Lisbon Treaty which will require the votes of all members.

Syriza leader Alexis Tsipras said in December his party would "ask Europe to erase a big portion of its debt."
That's NOT going to happen.
1.In case the EU, the ECB and the IMF agreed to this then half the world will be in line and asking Europe for the same favour.
2. If Tsipras keeps insisting and refuses to pay back its debt, then nobody will lend Greece a single dime, thus making his promise of spending their way out of the crisis a mission impossible. Unless..
3. He chooses to exit the Euro, for which he will have to exit the EU as well, and goes back to printing drachmes. That will last as long as how many zeros can be printed on a single bank note. Greece's economy would collapse.
Tsipras offers no better medicin than the one that is currently being prescribed. In fact he offers no medicin at all. All he offers is a single dose of 'wishful thinking'. He is, again, just an other politician who sees all problems but has no solutions.
The Greek public will, IF they choose him, do so to their own detriment and Merkel, Hollande and a few others would smerk and utter...GREECE, Good riddence.

Even Tsipras doesn't say he wants out of euro. He just wanted to change the bailout terms.

But lets be real for a moment. If Greeks will go out of euro and return to Drachma, who is going to keep the savings in Drachma?
None, because everyone will keep their saving in Dollars or euro. Drachma will be worthless.

We will be here and we will see that apart from some changes in the bailout terms nothing will change.

QE, pooling debt, debt forgiveness, inflating it away via currency destruction its all the same in the end. The creditor nations will foot the bill in the end.All debt gets repaid by someone. The alternative,if anything would ever happen to the euro – we all, globally, would be holding the bag, as even a much smaller trigger would be enough to bring the global debt edifice tumbling down – on all of us. This is why they all will play musical chairs as long as possible, they will lie, break the word and the spirit of any law necessary, because if the music ever stops….Mayhem will ensue. Everywhere.

how pathetic is the arrogance and ignorance displyed by these overpaid brussels bureacrats.....they confuse and spread dis information and thus increase those millions in Greece and elsewhere who say ' enough is enough' .

Greece ain't going no where. Whilst 1000s of pegida protesters voice there legitimate concerns peacefully in regards to the growth of that incompatible "religion" in Germany, Angela Merkal brands these poor people as nazis and is hell bent on causing trouble in with our Christian brothers in Russia. The EU politicians have no logic, are ignorant, arrogant and couldn't care less about their own people let alone some poor olive eating Greek. If Greece benefits Germany in the slightest of ways then we have the status quo.
