Parties react to president's announced "Kosovo plan"

It has nothing to do with legality. Serbia is not recognizing Kosovo because it's planning to invade it after KFOR leaves. We KS Albanians know this, so we are trying to form our security force into a full fledged army. We have NATO training, Western weapons, and experienced military and political leaders. Now to step foot on the burning coal.

The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), which is not represented in this parliament, believes that Nikolic's announcement is "extremely hypocritical."

Again, absolutely right.



"In 2008 he swore he would not rest until Kosovo was back in Serbia's fold. Four years later, he set up a classic border between central Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija," the DSS board in Kosovo said in a statement.

In the end, everybody is right and they are speaking the truth.

Serbia is finally awake and seeing the reality on the ground.

Nikolic can plan as much as he likes but independence won't be reversed.Albanians didn't steal serb land,they are autochthonous. Albanian lands are preshevo valley too. So please it's sad reading all these negative comments regarding Kosovo. Kosovo is Albanian.

I expect that will be about 2389. And chances are with leadership with your thinking the Serbs will be going into Kosovo to punch timeclocks. Like you always say this is not 1999 anymore and Serbia is not invading anywhere.

If Albanian muslims think they can steal someone else's land by breeding like rodents and outnumbering the Serbian Christian population in the area then they have another thing coming. With their high birth rate and mass immigration levels what's to say it wont happen somewhere else in Europe where once they become the majority in any given area they will suddenly claim "independence", stealing a chunk out of that country's land, all the while terrorising the local population until they get what they want. Europe is waking up to the dangers that this entails. Serbia, as the gatekeeper of Europe, will as always fight to the last man and will eventually see justice prevail, no matter what or how long it takes.

It looks like, politicians (all over the Balkans and not only) are just a bunch of selfish pricks, capable to promote whatever stupid idea that better suit their personal interest. I refuse to accept that Mr.Nikolic is such a stupid person. He is simply trying to secure his political survival as a representative of the hard liners toward Kosovo recognition. He simply can not join that group of Serbian politics (including actual government) which looks like is going to accept Kosovo and move on forward for the benefit of Serbian people.
The real problem ofus (people living in Balkan countrie) are this kind of politicians.

If Serbs would have a good memory, they would care themselves that the same things, the attempted ethnical cleansing of a part of its population, won't happen again. But I'm not sure about it, unfortunately.

I guess you havent seen your fellow albanians comments on this site and after all this is a Serbian site and not an albanian one.
