OSCE chairmanship to focus on Balkans and Ukraine

Ivica Dacic said on Thursday the Western Balkans, regional cooperation and peace process in Ukraine would be the priorities of Serbia's OSCE chairmanship.

It's a delicate job. If Serbia in anyway is seen to support Putin's behaviour that will inevitably bring (further) distain on Serbia.

This is not just a question of neutral arbitration. Putin has annexed Crimea against signed agreements and conventions and against international law. There has to be pressure on Russia to stop the military involvement in Ukraine.

There are distinct similarities between what Milosevic did by proxy in Bosnia and what Putin is doing by proxy in Ukraine.

All the noise about 'Russian Brothers' has been accepted with a degree of toleration, but Serbia cannot be seen to condone Putin's aggressive and illegal activities.

Not very optimistic about Ukraine.
There is no willingness to talk. And there is too much war fog around it to see what is really going on.

Extensive "academic investigation" conducted by CANADIAN University of Ottawa on subject of "Maidan Sniper Massacre" that ended with ouster of Yanukovich, and establishment of pro-European government.
