Of course I agree stoves shouldn't be banned in the presence of small kids so why do you need to make such a statement??

Not a rational argument you say.Whatever.You are entitled to your opinions but so am I. Also if I'm not mistaken you wondered if stoves should be banned in the presence of small kids so you don't think that's an irrational argument you're making?

Finally since I reside in Canada and since I'm currently visiting United States I thought I mention that my country's gun laws appear to be more strict than neighboring U.S.A.'s gun laws.

After learning of this accidental tragedy it's my opinion that parents of young children shouldn't be gun owners especially if such an accidental tragedy were to become commonplace.

Not a rational argument, but one used by anti-gun activist for years. How many children are burned on cooking and heating stoves a year? Should they be banned in households with small children? No you be responsible and try to prevent accidents.
