Kosovo assembly elects new government

In his address to the assembly, Mustafa said that the goal of the new government would be "to meet all the requirements for Kosovo to become a member of the United Nations and other international forums and to normalize relations with Belgrade."

Requirements to become an UN member? There is no such thing as an requirement for UN members. You only have to put a request. But every UNSC permanent member can veto on new member applications, and as Taiwan will never become an UN member because of Chinas veto, Kosovo will never become an UN member because of Russia's veto.

So better use the time and money to make Kosovo an European state, i.e. fight the mafia and corruption, arrest the war criminals who play politicians today and create conditions for investment so that you get an economy besides the black economy.
