"Technical" means we are the only part of the world that is economically declining, there is huge turmoil within the EU, huge social tensions in the north of Europe because of mass immigration, in the south of Europe because of austerity, and we simply cannot afford to take on more countries.

And just replace the 5 years with 10 years, and who even knows by then if the EU will still be around. My hope as well as my genuine belief is that it will not.

Then in five years, yet another 5 years.....When will these ignorant politicians, Vucic in particular, grasp the fact that Serbia will never be eligible to join.
