Wrong. The spit was aimed at the EU and it's energy companies
(Amnesty Yugoslavia, 5 December 2014 23:37)

That's what you say, but I normally tend to believe what the CE of B92 forums sj says and according to his/her teachings Serbia was to become the master of Europe as a result of this project and therefore Russia withdrawing from the project is a spit in Serbia's face because Serbia will no longer be able to become master of Europe!

If you disagree, please feel free to discuss with the CE of B92 forums sj, but I don't think you have any chance to be right because the CE of B92 forums sj is always always right.

I'm not sure what that means, but I hope you are not saying that we should not quote the CE of B92 forums sj and his/her brilliant teachings considering the efforts that he/she puts in his/her research for the benefit of all readers of these forums, including you.

Here you go all you experts. This is Brussels begging for South Stream to be built. From the horses mouth.

Euractiv - Juncker says South Stream pipeline can still be built

Greetings from Eurocrat land!

It would be nice if B92 ran this story on its own, but I'm not holiding out any hopes. If B92 wants to have at least some accurate reporting of Brussels, then it should look into making an agreement with euractiv. Other media groups do.

(icj1, 3 December 2014 05:11) Russia gave a very rude awakening by spitting again on Serbia's face.

----

Wrong. The spit was aimed at the EU and it's energy companies that were (through their naive Bulgarian proxies and the so-called Third Energy Package) attempting to extort Gazprom. The unprecedented force and impact of the expectorate was of such a volume that it covered Europe from Bulgaria to Brussels with enough drool and salvia to thickly blanket all of the pygmy countries in between.

I don't think anything is certain regarding the future targets of NATO campaigns. Perpetual war is the overall objective and NATO's next victims will not only include the targeted peoples, but with a greater reliance on pygmy NATO infantries to fight Washington`s proxy wars, will also include the sons and daughters of naive NATO cheerleaders.

I don't really "care" about Russia at all. But what you are saying is just factually inaccurate. Russia wants to build the South Stream Pipeline more than anyone. This project is pan-European, not a joint Russian-Serbian venture. Serbia was to play but a small part in its construction.

In what way has this anything to do with Serbia or Russia "spitting" in Serbia's face for not being able to build a pipeline it wants to build but isn't able to for the moment? You are small minded. Maybe your life revolves around Serbia, but much bigger things are at stake here.
(Ari Gold, 3 December 2014 11:44)

This project is pan-European, not a joint Russian-Serbian venture. Serbia was to play but a small part in its construction. The pipeline is meant to go through Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Austria, Hungary Slovenia (who is still constructing their part of the pipeline despite the news) and Macedonia.

Apart from this, private German, Italian and French companies are the primary foreign shareholders of the project who are now standing to lose billions because of the latest development. In what way has this anything to do with Serbia or Russia "spitting" in Serbia's face for not being able to build a pipeline it wants to build but isn't able to for the moment? You are small minded. Serbia can never be bombed by NATO again. That time has passed. It was a very narrow window where something like that could have happened and now post 9/11, and given how Americans here are by and large war weary even when it comes to taking out barbarians like ISIS, it is inconceivable to imagine your sick desires materializing again. Sorry it can't be 1999 forever. You should stop living in the past.

And South Stream or no South Stream, Serbia is not going to be bombed by NATO ever again. The geo politics of today simply would not allow it. And without NATO, you lose lose lose. Presevo, Macedonia, Mitrovica 2011. No NATO, no nothing for you.

There are two ways two deal with it - show some self respect (if you care more about Serbia instead of Russia) or continue saying thank you please spit again on Serbia's face.

As for Serbia being bombed again by NATO or not, that will really depend on Serbia's actions. If it behaves, will certainly not be bombed.

The real donkey here is you. Acting like this was some Russian-Serbian joint venture. This hurts every single country it doesn't go through any more, all of whom besides Serbia are members of the EU.

As far as your weapons and training, you received those in the 90s before NATO had to militarily intervene for you. Not all the weapons or the training in the world will ever let you carry out a military victory on your own without NATO acting as your air-force.

Albanians are probably going to act as if this was a Russian-Serbian joint-venture, but in reality, this hurts all the European countries it doesn't pass through any more. You know who it hurts the least? Russia. They still are still building pipelines into China and now decided to build one to Turkey which it can easily extend into the Balkans and onto the rest of Europe should geopolitical conditions change.

It is the people of Europe who because of EU regulation, pay some of the most expensive energy bills in the entire world. It is because of the EU central planners and American neo-cons, that the free market was meddled with. Now the people of Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria and Serbia can thank the unelected bureaucrats of the EU for stopping progress just to support a neo-nazi Junta in Kiev.

Russia is inconvenienced, the people of Europe suffer. The EU central planners still filthy rich in their Brussels bubble.

Diplomaticus

Leave it to these people to view defeat as a victory. No one will beg because the EU has an alternative to this pipeline: TAP Pipeline and all the pipelines coming out of North Africa to Spain and France. Also this new Russian pipeline will be built all the way to the Turkey-Greece border "for south Europe costumers." Again, from there on TAP will be used to transport this gas, as well as gas from Azerbajan, to the rest of Europe, through Greece, Albania and Italy. This is the "South Gas Corridor" supported by the European Commission. It is part of the "Second Strategic Energy Review – An EU Energy Security and Solidarity Action Plan."
Serbia can benefit as well from this project by joining the Ionian Adriatic Pipeline (IAP), which runs from Fier, Albania through Montenegro, and BiH, to Split, Croatia, or by joining the Albania to Kosovo pipeline.
No beging is neccessary, but sound judgement yes.
