"As for the Hague Tribunal, the question is, what is the ultimate goal of their circus show and their mentors and clowns? What do they wish to achieve? A change of government? Well isn't it citizens who decide in elections, in democratic societies?"

No need to comment those words about the ICTY, an international UN organ of justice - and you wonder why the EP put up a resolution condemning Seselj's hate spech? And no, Serbia and its government and president had some weeks of time to distance itself from Seselj's words - it didn't - probably for 'election purposes', not to scare away the few percents of nationalist extremists who glorify their great leader Seselj?

Funny to see that even the Serbian president seems to be a lunatic spinning the conspiracy theories of 'government changes', after Vulin came up with that.

"Even now, a destabilization of the region is not in the interest of Serbia or the Balkan countries, but it is neither in Europe's interest," Nikolić noted.
I strongly agree with the President of Serbia on this point! But, he should finnish this line of logic and explain to his people, who then is really interested in instability in the Western Balkans, undermining their certain EU membership? Does the USA really want to undermine the great European project? The answer is an obvious 'no'. Than who else has the historical motives to achieve this?
Even the blind know this is Russian strategy! Its the same idea behind all the frozen conflicts they instigate, wether in Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and most recently Ukraine. Russia is using its mafia and old intelligence contacts to undermine Serbia and use it as a pawn in its own game. Russia has no problem sacrificing its own population to its leader's 'glorious' ends, so why not Serbia, using some power hungry and morally corrupt politicians?
Yes Mr. President, "a destabilization of the region is not in the interest of Serbia or the Balkan countries... neither in Europe's interest." So stop with this 'oh we are terrified from Šešelj' nonsense. He is just a scarecrow and a tired and sick negotiation tool.

"We do not need to be reminded by those who have not solved that problem in their own backyard," said Nikolić."

Well is Nikolic finally coming to terms with Serbia's dark and brutal past?

What is the point of this rant about the court?

It is not an organisation interested in overthrowing governments.

That said, anyone who thinks it is, lacks any understanding of diplomacy and therefore is not really a suitable President.

This "circus show and their mentors and clowns" is an international body set up to counter the great evils that were being done in the Balkans - in particular as instrumented by Milosevic.

However much you may not like it Mr President, the point is that a boot was stamped on misbehaviour done in the name of Serbia, and part of that boot (even if you don't like the mud on it) is the International Court.

Learn the lesson and live with it.
