Scooping up a couple of smuggling entrepreneurs is of no consequence. Did the smugglers own the yachts? Who did?

Serious weight for cocaine is still managed through commercial shipping lanes, not a couple of bozos in yachts.

Dirty little Serb rats! And they would try to have the world beleive that Albanians are the ones that deal in the illicit drug trade! The largest drug busts in Europe almost always cosist of Serb criminals! Little angels my a..!!!

There's no reason to try and score points here, it is bad that people deal in drugs for sure, but its time to be adult about these things. there is a demand for drugs and for as long as that remains the case, people will seek to supply it because there's money to be made from it. what has this global war on drugs actually achieved? nothing, people still consume drugs, people still supply them and make money out of that trade. what has happened however is gang turf wars that have definitely not benefited anyone, bar criminals. my attitude to this is simple, all rational adults know that drugs can be potentially lethal, yet it is down to the individual to make that choice. what states can do, is build centres that should provide help but also keep addicts off streets whilst trying to gradually get them off those substances. i venture that for every kilo caught, around 5 make it through. criminalizing the trade has not gotten rid of drug dealers. it has made them filthy rich.
