This is a bit harsh as he only managed three competitive matches, one of which was abandoned. He managed to get Serbia to draw with France in a friendly which I think is a good result considering that France are currently 7th in the FIFA world rankings. This is becoming a common trend for football clubs and national football associations, they expect instant success; Mexico for example went through four managers in a very short period of time recently. Managers will never have success unless they're given enough time to implement their methods, tactics and philosophies. Dick Advocaat is a great experienced manager, the FA of Serbia could have at least let him manage tonight's friendly with Greece; Greece are on a poor run of form at the moment and this friendly could have been used to kick start some momentum for the Serbian national team.
