Croatia "to condition Serbia's EU talks with new trials"

It is not a good practice to set bilateral issues as a condition in the course of the EU negotiation talks, Jadranka Joksimović has said.

EU Dude- you are incorrect. There are two routes available for EU membership; articles 48 and 49 of the EU Treaty, neither of which changes under the Lisbon Treaty. Both of these require unanimity and therefore in practice each of the existing members has a veto and can condition membership even if unofficially.

This is a blessing, I hope the Croatians stop Serbia from joining the EU, any normal Serb with an IQ above 90 does not want their country to join the Fourth Reich anyways.

Its hilarious how the majority of the EU does not want us to join, yet the Serbian people want to join. Why do you want to join, because you want easy access to run to Germany? Haha sorry guys, the Turks beat you to the line!

As the Swedish word says -

" Dont trew stones in a House of glas " !.

Croatia the Hypocrit !.

So,
Croatia has to be brought to Justice,
for its genocides of the second World War.
Then Croatias sentense could only be the death one.

Croatia will soon show its ugly face again.

This news is completely meaningless.

As of 1 November 2014, the Lisbon Treaty is in full effect. What does this mean? All areas of EU policy except foreign policy (this does not include 'Enlargment') comes under Qualified Majority Voting. There is no Croatian veto. You would think that they would know that.

Here in Brussels, I'm hearing croatian spoken more frequently though so far only by very tall, slim and beautiful ladies (Dalmatians?). I'm not complaining.

if Serbia joins ahead of either Albania or Bosnia it will try to extract its own pound of flesh.

Sorry, my friend, but Serbia will be the last Balkan country to be admitted in the EU, if ever. Their uncivilized behavior will take at least a century to correct. Kosova will be a member long before Serbia.
p.s. Serbia played well against Denmark , even though losing 1-3

It appears Croatia is not willing to let Serbia off the hook!
Serb War Criminals will not sleep well tonight. Some of whom participate on B92. You know who you are.

The War Crimes Court at the Hague will, again, be cranking up for business, to welcome many more trails. This should include those who gave orders all the way down to those who committed the actual killing and raping. No War Criminal should escape justice.

All victims must unite and demand financial compensation from Serbia the aggressor.

You're going to have to find better ways of making money other than taking it from others. Might I recommend market capitalism and an educated society? Besides, if we're going to walk about war crimes aggression, Albania and Kosovo will be broke by the time the EU approved war crimes tribunals finishes with you. There's not enough drugs in the world you can sell to make up for the cost of crimes committed by your ilk.

Slovenia did it to Croatia over fishing rights, Croatia is doing it to Serbia over war crimes trials and no doubt if Serbia joins ahead of either Albania or Bosnia it will try to extract its own pound of flesh. The EU should not allow individual members to impose their own conditions nor should one country be allowed to veto entry for another. This policy is fraught with danger in the Balkans where each nation will take any and every opportunity to make life hard for another.

Serbia must be made to pay for War Restitution.

All victims must unite and demand financial compensation from Serbia the aggressor.

Croatia (pot) can demand from Serbia (kettle) because their EU and NATO membership status.
