Elements from various models of European regions were used in preparing the draft statute of the community of Serb municipalities (ZSO), says Ljubomir Marić.

The South Tyrol model will will work only if the EU pushes it, which seems to be what they've wanted all along. They couldn't care less about Albanian majority communities in Presevo since no one outside the Albanian nationalist community talks about it, and Hungarians in Vojvodina aren't pushing for anything close to what Albanians whine and complain about. Stop pretending like to you give a damn about Vojvodina, an area light years ahead in development, shared community, and standards of living from another region you constantly talk about but do not live in and have never been to.
As for Sandzak, the only ones who think they're oppressed are the whackjob followers of Zukorlic who's even ridiculed in Bosnia, the country he thinks he's from.
As an Italian i can simply say that for 70 years STyrol has been succesfoul only because the people involved are Austrians and Italians and Italy and Austria were pushed by 2 bloodish wars to peace...it's not a model ...there are already signs that it can deflagrate soon ...
