Quite frankly, that is about all that they will do, stage maneuvers. The article goes on to say that Nato should be ready by the end of 2015. Where do you think Russia will be by then? Sitting idol, just waiting for Nato to drop by and sit a spell? The US (Nato) could huff and puff all they want, but they will never blow the house down. It's as simple as that. The Ukraine is Russia's to keep and there is nothing the US (Nato) can/are able to, or have the courage to do. They can flex until the cows come home, but that will be the extent of it.

That would be a really stupid thing to do, so I guess NATO will do it. Keep digging when you don't know what else to do. God help us all.

It is not "provocative actions" against anybody. As long as NATO keeps their military maneuvers within their own borders, it can do them wherever they feel like it. Russia also has maneuvers close to the borders of other countries, and rightfully so, as long as they stay within their borders. It was like this during the Cold War and it didn't lead to any armed conflict.

It is idiotic conclusions like this further the decline of relations between Russia and NATO, when I think everyone with half a brain knows that neither side will go to war with the other. Doubt you really know what you are talking about, nor others that boast about the super powers of the US and NATO. But I am 100% sure that should we have a nuclear war where Russia first launches against the US or the US first launches against Russia, neither will be a super power of the future.
