@sj

lets be clear, are you denying that our army committed genocide in Srebrenica?
what you say is prove that the tribunal was fair and impartial in their decision and they did find that Serbs committed genocide in conclusion. Do you know the meaning of the word? Do you realize how serious a crime is that?

I must commend those Serbs they even had Dutch military uniforms.
I must recall the first Serb on trial in the Hague. The main witness came out with ’blazing“ testamony of beatings and rape against the Serb. Then the defence counsel caught the prosecution witness lying about facts and proved that the witness was fabricating the story. In the end the witness confessed on the stand that he was paid by Sarajevo to be a witness. Yes, the Serb got 15 years.
Then there was the trial of a Serb in Sarajevo who allegedly killed two Bosniak brothers (or relatives) and at the height of the trial the two people in question returned from Sweden or Norway for a holiday and the trial went very quiet. They had to release the Serb, but not a peep about the trial in the free western press – not a peep.

The ICTY Nov 6th Order on the Provisional Release of the Accused Proprio Motu was finally published and confirms that the ICTY did NOT fulfill Serbia's condition for providing the guarantee. The trial chamber order states: "there is no need' to seek the consent of the Accused"

Only in the laughable and warped (il)logic of the ICTY is a provisional release possible with NO provisions presented to the accused.

A remarkably fitting closure to the lunacy of the ICTY.

ari gold's logic:
Some croation or albanian criminal got away with it, then all serb war criminals should be set free.

Here some more testimony from the Hague tribunal:

Testimony of Ramiza Gurdić:
I saw how a young boy of about ten was killed by Serbs in Dutch uniform. This happened in front of my own eyes. The mother sat on the ground and her young son sat beside her. The young boy was placed on his mother's lap. The young boy was killed. His head was cut off. The body remained on the lap of the mother. The Serbian soldier placed the head of the young boy on his knife and showed it to everyone. ... I saw how a pregnant woman was slaughtered. There were Serbs who stabbed her in the stomach, cut her open and took two small children out of her stomach and then beat them to death on the ground. I saw this with my own eyes.[64]

Yeah, let us all celebrate, the criminal is coming home.
As a reminder let us all cheer on the great deeds our great man did:

The only consolation for the victims is that he will die in great pains as his cancer progresses.
He will see hell twice, once a slow and prolonged painful purgatory mayhem on this earth and then when he meets his alter ego in the devil himself. Rot in hell our great leader!

Given the fact that Ante Gotovina who was on the ground murdering and expelling Serbs in Krajina was let off and given a heroes welcome, given the fact that Naser Oric was slaughtering Serbs on Christmas day and was let off... I think this is more than just. Alija Izetbegovic brought thousands of Jihadists from the Middle East who if they are alive today are fighting for ISIS. He never had his day in court, same as Tudjman.

Meanwhile Hashish Thaci is STILL today trafficking drugs and sex slaves. He probably just got off the phone wrapping up a big drug deal just now. Hardinaj? Yes, if you think Seselj should be in jail and not these criminals, then you are a racist and an anti-Serb bigot.
(Ari Gold, 7 November 2014 18:07)

Well, the thing is that all "facts" you mentioned are really your opinions and they have not been substantiated by an indictment or conviction, which means they can simply be ignored as they are indeed ignored by the international community.

Why is his health (I'm sure he's just lying in order to get out) even important considering all the war crimes he's responsible for? This warcriminal should rott in jail.
And for those serbs who consider him a "hero" - you disgust me!
(Anna, 7 November 2014 08:51)

Oh just shut up already. What crimes has he committed that the Hague could not convict him for in 11 years? I don't support his political party, but it's just plain as day that he did not commit any crime other than being a Serbian nationalist which I am positive you consider to be a crime all by itself.

How naive we all were 10-20 years ago ! American specialists filled Kremlin corridors and told us what to do with our military plants. They tied our finance to Bretton Wood robbing system. They song us their democracy ballads (White dove flying with the wind …) and via agents of influence they stole our secrets and property. How naïve we all were …

Seselj too was naïve. He believed that ICJ can never condemn an innocent. How naïve he was. Even the anti-Serbian statistics of the Court has not stopped him. So he became just another victim of the Tribunal to show that Serbs have the balls. 11 years were enough to show that this institution is to be closed forever. No matter if I agree with Voislav or Slobo I deeply respect them both.

Now Serbia will probably declare him as dead (due to cancer, heart attack or something else they make up) and get him a new identity and that way he'll live free as if he never committed any war crimes against thousands of innocent non-serbs in the Balkans!

And for those serbs who consider him a "hero" - you disgust me!

The B92 article inadequately reports the details of Serbia's guarantee. Serbia was not concerned with the provisions for release. As a matter of fact, the most recent proposals for provisional release are substantially different from the provisions specified on July 2014.

Serbia, in stead, had stipulated its one major condition in both July and November 2014: That the ICTY consult and obtain unequivocal consent from the accused to abide by any and all provisions.

Most notably, in response to an AFP reporter's question on Nov 6th, ITCY spokeswoman M. Spalinska indicated that the ICTY had "not found it necessary to consult the accused".

Consequently, the ICTY did NOT fulfill Serbia's only condition for guaranteeing the release of the accused. Therefore Serbia can not be considered a guarantor of the provisional release.

Seselj was not consulted on any provision of the release.

De facto, Seslej will be released in Serbia unconditionally.

Daniel

Not much of a IQ either. Earlier, Serbian officials said they had offered guarantees for his release that were identical to the ones provided earlier this year - when Šešelj refused the conditions set by the court. Their is going to be a party in Belgrade as their criminal "hero" returns.

Of course it should be a party, just like you celebrated your convicted warcriminals Gotovina and Markaca. As for Seseljs iq the fact that he is the youngest dr in law in the history of Yugoslavia speaks for itself.

Well, the thing is that all "facts" you mentioned are really your opinions and they have not been substantiated by an indictment or conviction, which means they can simply be ignored as they are indeed ignored by the international community.

@sj

lets be clear, are you denying that our army committed genocide in Srebrenica?
what you say is prove that the tribunal was fair and impartial in their decision and they did find that Serbs committed genocide in conclusion. Do you know the meaning of the word? Do you realize how serious a crime is that?
