Ok, tell us something which we did not know. Why is this article even relevant. Short of making someone feel better about themselves I doubt Russia will ever go to war for Serbia ever again. Furthermore Serbia today is treated very differently since WWI and WWII and is considered a troublemaker state by the majority of the world so unlike in the WWI and WWII when it had 100% backing from the western world; today Russia finds itself cornered on every issue when it comes to Serbia. Either way Serbian politics and its society have become more radicalized and I am afraid it will go nowhere with the type of aggressive aptitude displaying towards its neighbors. So in the words of famous priest....Repent you sinners.

Brothers bonded by Blood, Religion and Language. Lets look back just 100 years in world history, the massive suffering of Eastern Orthodox Slavic people in Europe. In Russia and Serbia horrific and tragic loss of human life. No end in sight of the holy war, Eastern Orthodox Christians persecuted by the evil Roman Catholic Empire. Even when our evil enemy is not stabbing, shooting and bombing us, then they continue to choke us with massive hate demonizing campaigns and world isolation with economic sanctions. Mother Russia reaching out to help and support Serbia through out history, the bond blood is thicker than water. The Eastern Orthodox Slavic people now in the most danger of all times, extreme evil hate from the West's International Community. Serbia the epic center of the Balkans surrounded on all sides by evil and danger. Serbian Cival and Military leaders must act on the defense of it's citizens as a first priority. Serbia needs to be permanently bonded to the Great Russian Empire. Russia, China and India the Great Eastern Empire, a new era for massive economic developement. Russia, China and India always respectfull and supportive to Serbia, never hostile to Serbia. The EU a evil illusion with Catholic Roman Empire in charge and control. The suffering and destruction of our Serbian race must come to an end. Serbia must never forget the reality of our tragic past history of persecution by our enemies leading to massive death and destruction of our people and lands.

Yes Russia has supported us in the past. Similarly, Serbs have saved Russia too. During WW2, Serbia saved Russia by delaying Operation Barbarossa through the coup de ta. As well, Serbia bogged down the New World Order Satanists in Yugoslavia for 10 years from 1990-2000 (Seeing as Russia cannot be colonised without Serbia being taken out of the picture).

And what did Serbia get in return for helping Russia? Serbia was left to defend themselves from NATO, Serbs were rejected from joining the Eurasian Union in 2000 and Serbia's gas supply was recently cut by 25%. HAHAHAHA Yes "Russians" are our brothers :S

Old-style imperialism at his best. Is it 2014 in Russia or the Cremlin Clock runs backwards? At least the Commies were much better in interperting the history. Russia went in the Great War to protect its imperialist interests, as the other powers did and do admit today.

Nice advice Comm. Parrisson, but please specify which school Mr Kozyachev should attend? As Cremlin Clock ticks different, so does Russian school today.

Russia helps Serbia with a lot more than 200 million annually but a business agreement is a business agreement and should be respected.

And what did Serbia get in return for helping Russia? Serbia was left to defend themselves from NATO, Serbs were rejected from joining the Eurasian Union in 2000 and Serbia's gas supply was recently cut by 25%. HAHAHAHA Yes "Russians" are our brothers :S

The protection of botherly People must not be so costly. It is time to find contemporary solutions for the good of people, not for their leaders.

Russia went to war to defend Serbia but with the underlying reason that by doing so it was defending its interests in the Balkans and its status as an important power and defending Serbia was a symbol of those things. So yes, it defended Serbia, but it's important to remember that it wasn't entirely from altruism but was as much to protect its own image and status in the world.
