JFI thanks for that attempt at low level sarcasm but just to let you know when I read the headline there was no reason to read the article as the premise of a state existing without borders is ridiculous and fanciful. How then can Palestine get recognition and Kurdistan not? The Kurds have territory, a much bigger population and regional government. Hence my question was perfectly valid having not read that meaningless statement from Stockholm. Then again most of what the EU does or says makes no logical, and quite often legal, sense. I'm in favour of a state for the Palestinians and am sure they too would wish to have defined borders as this Swedish recognition is only symbolic and otherwise meaningless.
