Damn, those bastards. So when they said they're going to start the bombings because Milosevic was stealing money they were lying? He was inocent. Poor guy. Well, no good deeds ever goes unpunished.

It's a pity that the reason for this decision has been omitted from the article. But then again, how can one expect B92 to spill the beans by letting its readers know *why* events unfold the way they do... The deleted "why" in this story is that after one of the most stringent and detailed searches in the history of modern banking, international officials have concluded that yes indeed, Milosevic was telling the truth when he said he did not steal any money, hide any money in foreign bank accounts for his personal use, or in any other way purposely engage in corrupt financial practices for his own personal gain. There are millions of Serbs who were deceived by the Western propaganda asserting that Milosevic was a thief... now they can mull in private the results of their decision to believe the lies of those who bombed them with depleted uranium.

I think most of the Milosevic family, including grandchildren, are well-settled and established in Russia by now. They will probably sell their assets and take the money to Russia.
Russia has been decent to them, while Serbia is just a nest of puppets who've done worse for the economy and financial system than the sanctions and bombings.
