If you're so sure you would win why did you want to end the game by sending in the drone with the uggliest flag on earth?Albanians wanted to provoke the serbs and thought Nato would interfear and reward you the game. That would be the only way you albs could beat serbs at sports.

PT I'm only too glad to respond to your query. Siptar is not a derogatory term as the Albanians refer to themselves as Sqiptare(see Wikipedia). It was/is the name on their postage stamps. As for the "Killkill" bit I agree it is over the top but so is most of the raucous banter you will hear at almost any football match, particularly if there is some political issue the match is always a prickly affair and there are many examples internationally and even at club level.Enraged fans are difficult to control as no-one could have foreseen the provocation that occurred and to some extent their reaction, though inappropriate, was inevitable in that cauldron-like atmosphere. This potentially interesting football match was spoilt by a crass act of stupidity from some individual/s who obviously forgot to stay at home and stay on their playstation to fly aircraft instead of ruining everyone else's evening. As for banners on the terraces that is there place not on a drone. Regarding the content of the banners, which I didn't see, it's fair to say one man's war criminal is another man's war hero and as far as I'm aware there is no restriction to freedom of speech in Serbia. You appeared somewhat perplexed in your note and I doubt you'll be happy with my reply along with "think again" who should do exactly that as I'm not Serbian but am sympathetic to this injustice I perceive that the Serbian football team has been dealt and you are all free to disagree and I respect your opinions..

LOL. Mladic and Karadzic have not been convicted just yet. Although they will be in the kangaroo court, it is not appropriate to call someone a criminal before their conviction.
(Ari Gold, 25 October 2014 01:35)

I guess that applies to Thaci, as well!
----------

But seeing as the conviction is a mere formality based on the the courts' anti-Serb bias, I can see why you have jumped the gun.
(Ari Gold, 25 October 2014 01:35)

Anti-Serb bias in a court proposed by Russia, approved by Russia, with all judges approved by Russia, with the Court's President approved by Russia not once, but several times...?!!! Mate, it appears that you are not aware that Russia is Serbia's closest ally and friend, or so we're told by the most patriotic of Serbs in these forums. So either you are wrong (i.e. there is no anti-Serbs bias) or the most patriotic of Serbs are wrong (i.e. Russia has an anti-Serb bias).

There is no doubt that Albanians provoked with flag and Mitrovic had every right to remove that illegal flag from the pitch. Albanian players started the fight. I am surprised that UEFA did not punish Albanian players for starting the fight and it was obvious from the video footage who was responsible for starting fight on the pitch.

On the other hand, even though Albanians started the fight, that does not give rights to Serbian fans to enter the pitch and start fighting with Albanian players. It was badly organised and not a single fan should have entered the pitch nor any single Albanian player should have been attacked by fans or security stewards!!!

As a Serb I am ashamed of the fans response on obvious Albanian provocation.

The biggest loser is Serbian national football team as they got 0 points and they could have get it all 3 points if the game was not interrupted. So basically it is that we lost 3 points at home.

The new game should be played.

In Genova case, even though Italian fans were provoking by spraying our fans with water, Italian fans have not entered pitch nor attacked Serbian players. They did it in very clever way and got 3 points. But our stupid fans made difficult for us to qualify for Euro 2015.

However, I am really concerned for safety of Serbian players when they play return leg in Albania. Uefa should have not allowed it for the return leg to happen, or it should be played on neutral ground.

Oh and Vuk Karadzic was a Serbian linguist that lived in the 1700s. He also wrote the Serbian language (and by extension, the "Croatian" language as well). He is not under any investigation by the Hague, although I am sure they are working on convicting dead Serbs after their done with what they have already.

I'm sure Milos Obilic and Gavrilo Princip are next right after Vuk Karadzic!

The appeal by Serbia must be upheld any SERB with a modicum of sanity cannot imagine any other outcome. I predicted a 3:0 award to Serbia as it was obvious which side had caused the outrage but never in my wildest dreams did I see a points deduction of this magnitude for responding to extreme provocation, quite the reverse the 3 points should have gone to Serbia and Albania expelled from the competition. Now that would be SERBIAN justice.

A couple of chamges to make your post more accurate. The flag incident was another incident in a totally unprofessional immature embarrassment to sports.
Serbia should have to play the entire year with all home games without fans! Adding other incidents occurring due to soccer fans or hooligans as your govt calls them as if it absolves the rest of Serbia, should result in a life time ban on fans.
Some booing and removal of the flag would have been an appropriate response but Serbia was done way past that before the flag.

Fair's fair, Do you consider "Kill, Kill Albanians", chanted using the derogatory 'Siptara' for Albanian, provocative by Serb fans? Yes or No?

I would like to add that if an illicit banner as the one flown by the drone was so provocative to prompt Serb fans to invade the pitch and attach players, is it your claim that there were no illicit banners among Serb fans depicting war criminals, fascist ideology, and the like?

Looking forward to your reply.

First, I think Serbia will qualify anyways and although I am a Croat, I still hope for the sake of sport this doesn't affect the team to the point where they don't qualify.

Although I do think Albania were not innocent in this, they did provoke the Serbian fans with the childish flag, I still find that Serbian fans also behaved poorly. They chanted "UBI UBI SIPTARA"...a clear display of racism during an international soccer match, your fans wore fascist black t-shirts with the portrait of war criminals, Ratko Mladic and Vuk Karadzic, your security forces were a clear failure and in some cases participated in attacking the Albanian team while they allowed a known Serbian criminal (Ivan Bogdanov) to walk freely across the soccer field...in any other country he would not have been allowed to enter the stadium, in Serbia he freely walks onto the field without any issues.

Make no mistake, this is your responsibility whether you believe it is or not! You cannot point fingers when you have a responsibility to protect your guests and to not allow fans to enter the field.

You have had great players forever...get it together and stop blaming Croatians, Albanians, Solvenians and every one else for your shortcomings...take responsibility and move on!
