@Albanian: I have to correct you regarding Albanians in Serbia. Albanians living in Serbia do not face discrimination. There were some incidents after the game, but I am happy to inform you that all perpetrators have been comprehended/processed and all damages to shops will be taken care off. I personally know Albanians living in Belgrade and they live the same as we do.

Because their old houses were destroyed by whom? Or they must return to different villages, because they cannot return to their own home because of whom? Further more, what is more disgusting that a good percentage of Kosovo budged is payed by donors - no wonder, because the drug business (which is the main economy in Kosovo) is exempt from taxes :)

Hey Albanian, I believe that was the solution that the EU and the USA tried to prevent back in 1999. I agree all Albanians need to go back to Albania, but we need to including the ethnic Albanians in Greece, Macedonia and Montenegro!

Albanians face discrimination in Serbia that's not a secret, Serbs also face discrimination in Kosova. We all know who started killing in the name of nationalism (Serbia) but were past that. Lets just save as much as possible, and ignore one another forever.

The thing that always amazed me is that Serbs went through and either forcefully removed Albanians from their homes and then burned them or they intimidated them to the point that they fled and then burned their homes. At the time of UNSC1244 the displaced persons that were mentioned for safe return were 99% Albanian. The Serbs left as the Albanians returned to find all their property stolen by their neighbors. They feared RETAILATION and charges of war crimes by the international civilian and security forces.
But yet it is the Serbs who had new homes built for them to return, and although returning Serbs whose homes are burned are those that came back to claim the house paid by international money and then return to Serbia. But yet the Albanians who returned to stay had to build their own houses or fix what they could out of what was left.
With the amount of charity flowing into Serbia in the last couple of years, no Serb has the right to criticize Kosovo over donor funding. A huge part of the Serb budget should be going to rebuild that of Kosovo which they destroyed.
AS far as drug trafficking, Kosovo is only a transit point in the Balkans as it passes from or to Serbia (with the help of Serb criminals and politicians) on toward western Europe-a lot of which originates in brother Russia. Any source (nonSerbian that is) will link the Serbian and Albanian mafias very close to size and brutality, and involvement in drug trade.

Well you skirted all the way around my "ignorant" question without answering it. But in a way I think you did as you tried to diminish the role of Serbs in burning Albanians houses by saying everyone did it.
So what is the difference in one or the other? So is it just as terrible in your mind for a Serb to burn an Albanian's home as Milosevic forces did, as it is for an Albanian to burn a Serbs home?

To answer your ignorant question - in most educated and rationally thinking societies - an arsonist's nationality is irrelevant.

In the Balkans, arson has been used for centuries, by one's neighbor or occupier, as a tool to murder, intimidate, and extinguish the culture and history of others. No one has clean hands in the Balkans.

A sad statement of fact that continues today .. Not one generation has known peace in the Balkans.
