Good for Cyprus, and in the long term good for Turkey. Someone should block Serbia too. That way countries can have trade deals with the EU without having to join and become a colony.
Bravo, little Cyprus! They know very well of what a country Turkey is, and not just from the Ottoman times, but in much more recent history with how their little island was invaded, partly occupied and destabilized by the Turks in 1974 (up to 6,000 Greeks killed and up to 3,000 missing to this day).
No to Turkey in the EU ever! No one needs them and no one wants them. If the Germans and French are unofficially against their entry as well, then that already means something, though thankfully we have brave, little Cyprus that can keep them out officially through the means of a veto to their membership.
