Aside from all of this sounding like a broken record, I am puzzled as to why the EU believe that a Croat is the best person to be overseeing this area of policy for Brussels. I don't know the individual concerned but even the overlords in the EU Commission must realise that a Croat is not exactly an impartial observer/adviser when it comes to the future of BiH.

While Bosnia stays distant from the EU, politicians of all parties can continue to fill their respective boots with money and the corruption will go on unabated. The further you travel down the road to accession the closer the scrutiny and the greater the demands for transparency and the rooting out of corruption and nepotism. Bosnia and particularly its politicians and their families/close friends have flourished within the current set up, why would they rush to change it?
