It wasn't due to lack of charisma or something superficial that all but 4% of Serbia's electorate (most of them in Chicago) don't think that this is a good party, Ari. Don't kid yourself. Most people in Serbia (the vast majority) realize that this party's policies are a dead-end.

Maybe it would be an opportunity not only to change persons, but political agenda as well, since it proved to be unsuccessful and lead to being kicked out of parliament?

No their message is the most sensible one in Serbia today. Kostunica was principled but not charismatic enough to move people. But their program of not being in the EU will resonate with a lot of people as long as they have more substance behind that message. Over half of the population in Serbia doesn't really care for the EU, but no one has explained them a viable alternative.

At this point, with all the problems within the EU and the fact that the EU has publicly said that there wont be another member for at least 10 years, you really have to be a zombie to keep going down that path.

"The DSS was created in 1992 from a faction that broke off from the Democratic Party (DS), and was led by Vojislav Koštunica until March when he stepped down following the party's failure to win seats in parliament."
"It opposes Serbia's accession to the EU and wants Serbia to pull out of the membership talks, the agency said."
