But in a sense I do agree with the intoxicated Albanian who goes by Brian. Removing Kosovo-Metohija from the Serbian Constitution and also allowing the Albanians to have a 2nd seat at the UN would make "kosovo" by all legal standards a real country. But the key thing is the only country that can do that is Serbia and the Serbian government. No one else. Which means that it is in reality Serbia unless the Serbian gov't decides it isn't.

Hey mate, I want to create a country. Do you happen to know the address of the office in Belgrade which has been appointed by the world to grant legal certificates of statehood?

But it's actually becoming clear that really no country is benefiting lately from this ever closer super state with the exception of Germany. 3rd times a charm, I guess.

Yeah, I agree... It's becoming clear for a certain Ari Gold. It's unfortunate that the majority of the 500M people who actually live there are not seeing what our dear friend Ari Gold sees :)

To normalise relations you, the EU, should show more balance instead of leaning toward every albanian leaders threat to destabilise the region if they do not get what they desire. How is it possible that the EU believes it can continue to force the serb hand to deliver the final stage piece. The kosovo fly is yet to spoil the EU soup!

Of course. Kosovo-Metohija is a breeding ground for terrorists. Over 300 have went to go fight for ISIS, that's almost double the amount of terrorists coming from the UK. Now take into account that there are 1.3 million more Muslims in UK than in Kosovo-Metohija, you see a much higher rate of enthusiasm for terrorism.

But the key thing is not to try to lobby within the EU. Countries like the UK do not even have any say in the EU, what the hell makes any one from the Balkans think they will actually play a real role in anything other than handing down the directives from Brussels? Nothing. And Serbia? Forget it. They have a special prejudice towards Serbia. That's like an African American going to a Klan meeting.

Serbia's place is not in this union. But it's actually becoming clear that really no country is benefiting lately from this ever closer super state with the exception of Germany. 3rd times a charm, I guess.

Obviously our Albanian friends posing with anglo-saxon names like Brian and Jeff here are drunk in their delusions of anything going their way because they are somehow powerful. Crimes were definitely committed under the eye of Western governments and this is the driving force behind "closing the book" on Kosovo-Metohija.

Kosovo and Serbia are far from being friends or allies on anything. Serbia continues to repeat the same lines "Kosovo is Serbia, and Kosovo continues to slowly build its statehood. Just imagine for a minute if you do not have NATO and EU presence in Kosovo what events would unfold. There is no doubt Serbia would move in its army within days as Kosovo still does not have a functioning protection force thanks to the most corrupt and greedy politician in the entire Balkan region Mr. Hashim Thaqi. If there is any hope for a peaceful coexistence first Serbia has to come to terms with reality that it will never again rule Kosovo in peaceful terms. With this fact in mind Serbia should recognize Kosovo as an independent state and move forward with its own development. It surely has resources and the talent to do so. Kosovo on the other hand is in desperate need for a new breed of politicians. The so call freedom fighters have become a heavy stone on the neck of Kosovo and an obstacle to further development. They should all be sent to jail either for war crimes, corruption or both. They need to be told once loud and clear it was NATO that liberated Kosovo so stop occupying all the government positions and treat it like its your own property. I realize that this is only wishfull thinking, but until this happens we will continue to repeat and relive the vicious cycle of everyday misery.

There is only one thing left-Serbia removing Kosovo from its constitution. Dejan pavicevic acts as serbias ambassador to Kosovo! The customs agents and border guards. Serbs aren't forming the (powerless anyway) community of Serbian Municiplaities and are taking police commanders appointed by pristina and voting on republic of Kosovo ballots. Only one step is left and with 63% of Serbia saying Kosovo is independent and there being no nationalists is parliament- time to remove Kosovo from the constitution. That has to be preventing formal complete recognition!

To many foreign influences continue to ruffle Kosovo, it will affect the EU in the long term, but that is for the strategic thinkers to enjoy dotting together with their enthusiasm.
