Hahn: Serbia needs to consider sanctions against Russia

Serbia is not even in the EU and the blackmailing and demands continue. Serbia,s national interests should be their only concern, with some luck theEU will collapse completely before Serbia is ready to join.

Serbia will not join the EU until at least 2020. I'd like to think by that time Germany will have had enough of Ukraine's stubbornness and lean on them, as they're already doing to pay their Gazprom bills, to reach an agreement and lift whatever embargoes are currently in place. Until that time, Serbia is not in the EU and can make its own decisions.

I think also that blackmailing should stop...also there have been contradictory statements from other EU countries. They should speak with one voice, and the Strudel should check with Mrs. Merkel before making weird statements...

EU is going broke and falling apart and most countries poorer than poor/..and Serbia should care why ?,.....everyone knows that the new world order is Russia , china , India and the nines which include many from south - Latin America......America and the EU are almost on their own ,while china and the brics have majority of the world on their side.....American and EU lies and propaganda are finished in todays world this is not the 50s where nobody knew nothing...even in Croatia majority hate the EU....

Serbia has carefully considered sanctions against Russia, which really doesn't need much consideration at all, and wisely decided against sanctions. This whole EU 'ascension' is like a bully taking your lunch money...I won't beat you up today if you do...... Everyday it's something Serbia has to do...relations with Pristina, change the GMO laws, sanctions on Russia....for god's sake, a stupid gay pride parade was hung over their heads for the EU. Yet everything against Serbia's interest, like the recognition of Kosovo or having cyrillic signs smashed in Vukovar seem to not matter. Nothing that is for Serbia is good, anything that is not in Serbia's interest seems to be good as far as the EU is concerned. Stick to your guns on this one, HELL NO to sanctions on Russia.

The conditioning wont stop for as long as Serbia's governments continue going towards the path of EU membership that will never materialize anyway. It is becoming very obvious to see that the EU is positioning itself as a superstate which means they see all member-states as their provinces. This means no independent policies, you must submit to the central planners in Brussels.

Maybe you should investigate how much money Serbia is getting from the EU in the form of grants, donations etc and what the state of Serbia would be in without them, before you wish for its collapse. The people who think Serbia could survive on the handouts from Russia and China are just plain idiots.

Who the f are these people? Do they simply not understand the Accession process or do they simply not care? Since when is Serbia legally bound by any agreements with Brussels to immediately follow and adopt each and every action taken by the EU 28 when Serbia is not a member?

Or is this just a Austrian/German thing? Dump on the Serbs at every single opportunity because they can and they won't face any action for their behavior? There was absolutely no purpose to his statement as the decisions have already been taken and he is not in any position to impose his view.

BTW, has he cleared up the allegations that he plagarized his doctoral thesis (like zu Guttenberg and others)?:

Just asking because if does benefit only elites, then why do people vote for representatives who keep them in the EU? Unless the majority of the people is part of the elites, in which case I don't see where the problem is! As you can see there is some paradox in your logic that you need to resolve, dear...
