"Republic of Ilirida" declared in Macedonia

The republic of Illirida ( LMFAO ) thats right next to Narnia

The Slav Macedonian elite has since the fall of Yugoslavia maintained a very hostile relationship towards both Serbia and Greece. With Serbia, they recognized the illegitimate proclamation of independence by Pristina, and continue to harass and even arrest members of the Serbian Orthodox Church on false charges. With Greece it's even more serious. They don't have a real identity of their own, so they try to take Greek history and culture. I say try, because no sane person believes these people are descendants of Alexander the Great.

All of this while the Albanians are mounting to fully separate their communities from the Slav Macedonians. This republic b.s is nothing on its own, except a sign for what's coming.

Slav Macedonians need to stop travelling down this suicidal path of alienating their largest neighbors who also happen to be Orthodox Christian states. It would truly be in the best interest of these people to "remember" that actually, this land was a century ago a part of Serbia and even right before the final advancement of the Ottoman Empire into the Balkans, the city of Skoplje was capital to the short lived Serbian Empire. That is their truth history, not Alexander the Great. I believe if they don't use their democratic right to vote in a referendum to join Serbia, they will soon have to start learning Albanian because the Albs are not playing!!!

I love it!!! some people just don't now when to quit. I hope the Muslim Albanians keep pushing their extreme agenda on the Christian's in southeast Europe. They will lose all their previous gains!

Check any reputable history book, ( Noel Malcolm's: A Short History Of Kosovo ), a century ago Skopje was an Albanian speaking city. Even Trotsky, working as a journalist, said as much when he reported the atrocities taking place against the Albanians by the Serbs. Additionally, Edith Durham confirmed this monstrous act.

Really wonder sometimes what goes in the mind of the B92 editors who choose what to put in these pages. The space taken by this article could have been used for some other article of surely higher value.

I think the Macedonian diaspora are still fighting the old fights from the time they left the country - from before it was attacked by Albanians in the 2001 war. So that's why so many of them are still focused against Serbia and Greece. They left at a time propaganda was sponsored against Serbia to gear them up for "independence." And they are still in that phase and are ignoring the on-the-ground problems and threats by the Albanians.

I am sorry !

I just looked through the title "Republic of Ilirida" declared in Macedonia” and I misunderstood it as if they refused from FYORM or Macedonia name ... But now that I looked through the article I still can see some basis for optimism. FYORM is one of the US Troy Horses in the region. Once they have missed a chance to stick the Serbs against the Albanians. Very soon they needed help that Serbs could render. And now I can see no Balkan country to help them while the US is too far and too busy in the two starting wars against Russia and against their own ISIS bandits.

Albanians are a comparatively big regional destructive power to threaten their neighbors. To my mind it must push the local states cooperate in safety issues. But it does not happen. Say Macedonia conflicts all the neighbors so the Albanians can afford undermining one country after another. They are Albanians no matter what passports they have in their pockets for the time being.

If the Greek share was bigger only 1 part of them composed the army. In Asia they are seeking any evidence of the army but all in vain.
