The restoring of Russia's power by Vladimir Putin, the Prince of Russia. Leaders in the West enjoy referring to the " international community " when they discuss the force that opposes Russia, but in reality such solidarity does not exist. And as tensions between Moscow and the West intensify Russia will lean toward Asia to become its permanent geopolitical posture. Vladimir Putin will lead a 200 million man army, just look at the power he already has. Russia will survive not only the ongoing trade war, but also any larger conflict it may escalate into. A new era is upon us , positive direction for a new Serbia. We Eastern Orthodox Christians face East when we pray, we turn our backs to the evil West. The EU is led by Germany and the Roman Empire which will attempt for the third and last time to dominate Europe, but they are already defeated before they begin. Stay strong Serbia, avoid the EU deception, it is only a prymid where Germany's Roman Empire is on top ruling and the Balkan's Eastern Orthodoxy is on the bottom as slaves.

Thanks for your comment, Defending Vlad, and good question. While Russian GDP has indeed grown during the past 10 years, the gap between rich and poor has also increased. The percentage of Russians living in poverty has risen from 8.5% in 2002 to over 14% this year. Putin has talked about this and even one of the Russian Government propaganda mouthpieces, Russia Today, says:
"A report by Credit Suisse says 35 percent of Russian household wealth is controlled by just 110 billionaires. Worldwide, billionaires collectively account for 1 to 2 percent of the total wealth. Russia has the highest level of wealth inequality in the world, apart from small Caribbean nations with resident billionaires,”
With its current economic policies, it will be tough to change this. Russian growth has been fueled by government spending and consumption, while productivity has been stagnant - not a recipe for sustained growth. While this is the same situation as in the EU and Serbia, here the issue is recognized and discussed (although not enough is being done about it). And the situation is worse in Russia. During the 2000s the number of bureaucrats almost doubled, meaning more excess paperwork for citizens and businesses and more bribes. State companies control half of Russia’s economy, stifling competition and soaking up tax revenues. State companies often award contracts to companies owned by friends and relatives of their managers, as seen in building infrastructure for the Sochi Olympics.

A potentially great country is reduced to 99 percent living in poverty while a few get incredibly rich from the country's natural resources.
(Josip, 18 September 2014 12:26)

So it's like America? How could anyone possibly object to that?!

Josip where's your evidence for this claim of widespread poverty in Russia?? The average Russian is better off under Putin than they have been for the last 100 years. That's why they keep voting for him, he's not a useless windbag like Obama who dances to any tune his masters sing.

Josip, I think you are right, as is rote. Putin and his cronies have stolen a lot and fear the consequences. But that is for the Russian people to decide. They all privately know this, but also they like Putin because he is so often right. It's a double edged sword. Russians tell me it is not Putin who is the biggest thief, by a long shot. Let the russian people figure it out, it s their business.
And I believe kirby to be a good man and friend. But for me he has no legitimacy. His country destroyed 100 bn of civilian infrastructure of a false pretext and has done nothing to help us rebuild. An injustice that will last for centuries. He should keep his mouth shut and learn the art of apology.

Sadly, most people - including American politicians and diplomats - forget that the biggest victims of Putin and his cronies are not Americans or Europeans and not even Ukrainians or Syrians - the biggest victims are the Russian people. Putin and his friends steal trillions of Euros while distracting Russian citizens with propaganda and conflicts in foreign lands. A potentially great country is reduced to 99 percent living in poverty while a few get incredibly rich from the country's natural resources.

“U.S. ambassador "sent a message to the Russian side, not to Serbia" when he spoke about Vladimir Putin's visit here.”

It’s not true because the US already has an ambassador to Moscow. Diplomatic protocol is the last thing that they forgot to violate. So if any US ambassador to 200 countries worldwide will bark at Moscow it would be a bacchanalia. They know it for sure that Russia is the only state that cares not much of their messages. Thus it was addressed to Serbia so that you can see how powerful they are that they don’t even fear Moscow ! Congratulations ! So do we. The two states strive to destroy one another and the result is quite unpredictable. Most people wish us good luck but fear to say it openly. This is why the fascists are worried. Their personal vendetta against Putin is also helpless and his popularity in the world is only increasing. Because top politicians advertise him day and night and because he is winning the game. Besides they know that Putin may send his own messages at a speed of 6000 km per hour.
