Serbia does appear to be acting with a strong will to bring its laws into more sensible order.

The EU does actually give a pretty good guide to what constitutes a good legal system, so whatever the future, this updating and modernisation will do little harm and will do much good.

This is not just about 'the EU' - it is more importantly something that gives coherence and credence within the country. That coherence and credence is something that is also very important to those who will do business in Serbia.

Sorry fat boy, effort does not pay the bills. The EU is looking for concrete accomplishments not sob stories about the Serbs' perceived victimhood. Stop stalling and get cracking or you'll never get EU and NATO membership.
