The west is full of hot air because so far I have not been able to read just what sanctions are hurting Russia – not one. Yes it’s the usual bravado of banking and superior equipment of some kind, but nothing concrete to explain how it will hurt Moscow. It’s a fact that 85% of the world has no sanctions on Russia and more importantly the No 1 economy in the world is on Moscow’s side. Yes it would be a different story if China joined the sanctions brigade, but it has not and if you knew something about that country you would know it is an EU within its own borders.
These sanctions are for local consumption and nothing else. They are telling their people that Russia is hurting, but its not. The Hungarian PM said that the EU is shooting itself in both feet.
“West is hardly broke since their generosity…”
The west did not have this money. It’s all borrowed and if you think that being 130% of GDP (US) in debt is not a problem then you have a problem. Brussels did not help out Greece because they liked Greeks but to save their backsides.

(The Count of Kosova,

Ah, that trusty old false analogy with Hitler's Germany which is commonly used on this site by Turko-Albanians.
Only three possible conclusions to draw concerning someone who uses the Hitler parallel in relation to Russia today: they are either ignorant of the facts, too stupid to understand them, or dishonest. Or some combination of the three. They truth is Putin had never had any intention of conquering Ukraine but he wanted Ukraine to stay neutral. He has in my opinion exhibited a mastery and a sophistication in the use of the tools of power that no other world leader even approaches.

As to the rest of your garbage i will end my comment by asking you to take one look at the statistics of the prison population in Greece and you'll see that nearly half of them are immigrants and mostly Albanians.

The Ukrainian military never once set foot in Russia as Russia so blatantly did by invading the Ukraine militarily. The army of the Ukraine was forced to defend its country against Putin, the Russian Hitler and his thugs. Now that the traitors from the East and their Russian accomplices have had their noses bloodied, they claim to only want peace. Such deceitful scoundrels, these children of Vlad, the Russian Fuhrer.

The West is united and has the resolve to, ultimately, crush Russia and their dictator as they did Hitler. Leonidas, you of all people, should know the West is hardly broke since their generosity has kept the Greek people from going hungry. Leonidas, are you one of those many Greeks, we read about in the newspapers, who make their living cheating poor immigrants by not paying them their wages after a month of backbreaking working on farms. You should be ashamed. The news media in the West is having a field day exploiting this story.

Not all the Ukrainians are Facists, it is just there leadership In Kiev that is the problem. You can blame the leadership, but not the people. Even the soldiers are doing as they are told, and have been fooled by Kiev and the West's propaganda. Not all of the Rebels are good either.

What is good and what is important is that Russians and Ukrainians can live in peace, they always have up until now. There is no need to carve up the Ukraine and Russia like Yugoslavia. Decent people should be able to live in peace, take care of their families and go about their lives.

This will be done in order to "give Moscow time to continue its peace efforts."

It's a bit too late for the EU to talk about peace now.Any ordinary layman paying attention to the crisis in Ukraine would've seen that all peace initiatives were orchestrated by the Russian side.Wasn't it Putin and Lavrov they've been urging Ukraine in to a ceasefire and to engage in dialog? Wasn't it Putin who organized talks in Minsk and suggested ways to bring this conflict to an end? Wasn't it Putin who came up with a 7 point peace plan? But for the Western installed Ukrainian puppet regime and their US/EU backers peace has never been an option.Their geopolitical goals of encircling Russia would not allow them to envisage anything other than a neo-nazi controlled Banderastan. Now that they have lost, what do they expect, the people of Donbass and Lugansk to say,"OK, guys, no hard feelings", and go back to the way the things were before?
No one in Eastern Ukraine - neither the militia fighters, nor the people - will trust Kiev regime again, who killed their loved ones and destroyed their lives' work, their houses and their livelihoods. So independence is really now the only acceptable and feasible way to go.As for EU sanctions the whole argument is just a waffle. Most of the EU countries are on their knees financially and they need the Russian exports market and energy.I just hope Putin insists on payment in gold rather than in fiat Euros or fiat-Dollars. The vaults are empty.
