U.S. confirms authenticity of journalist execution video

U.S. authorities have announced that a video showing the execution of American journalist Steven Sotloff was authentic.

They say a week is a long time in politics. Yesterday's so-called "freedom Fighters" by the West have become today's terrorists.
Sunni terrorism is funded and supported worldwide by the US and Western allies and the Islamic dictatorships of Saudi Arabia, Qatar,UAE and Turkey.Once you know that little publicized fact you can understand my outrage in front of the Western world is a blatant duplicity and crass hypocrisy, its nauseous alliances with regimes at the antithesis of its self-serving fallacy that it would be defending peace, liberty and human rights abroad: that ludicrous and propagandist fairy tale. Put sanctions on those regimes and see what happen next, but I guess that the Western world is too eager to sell them top of the art military equipment and to sign more oil contracts while looking the other way.

During his tours through the middle east he had his picture taken with many Arabs, that are readily available and a caption can be attached by anyone wanting to portray it in a manner to his liking. Who got rid of Saddam? US led coalition forces in 2003.

Who got rid of Assad? He is still in power in parts of the country.

Who got rid of Gaddafi? The National Liberation Army with air support from NATO forces in 2011.

Who "created such fertile ground for this evil"? The Dictators by causing a Civil War from doing all that they can to remain in power. When there is anarchy caused by civil war, Extremists flock to these countries like flies do to a steaming ****. We saw peaceful democratic transitions in Tunisia, Morocco and arguably Egypt (which has since reverted to being a military regime), I don't see IS in these countries.

The UK and US have not directly supplied arms to IS. The UK and US have supplied arms to Syrian Liberation Army, the Libyan National Liberation Army and to the Kurds. Arms which the West have supplied will have worked their way into the hands of IS for various reasons such as defection, deceit and from capturing them ect.

ISIS/ISIL's early origins were in the Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad which was formed in 1999. The US fought them in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2013. This was whilst your three favourite dictators were still in power.

ISIS/ISIL have taken advantage of the civil wars and political instability in Iraq and Syria.
