Russia "could take Kiev in two weeks"

Vladimir Putin is a master at this game as we see and he is well aware that the west cannot lift a finger in this situation because they are broke, their people are weary of endless wars that only end up in losses both lives and material for no gain. Look at Iraq. All those years and now they are returning to help the fledging government over ISIS, a group armed by the west.
Now where is the United States of Piss and Wind, NATO, EULEX, RELUX and all the other XXXXs???????????? When push comes to shove they are all full of BS.

No one knows if Putin said so or the old scoundrel lies as usual. Anyway I am disappointed as I always believed any of the 3 Russian airborne divisions can seize Kiev in 1 day. Maybe Putin meant the former Ukraine as a whole but not only Kiev city ? but what is the problem ? If someone thinks it will take 3 weeks ? if it’s true then the key words are IF I WANTED . The USA dreams to tie Russia’s hands in such a war. Putin said he was sure that “Russians and Ukrainians are practically one people”. So Russian army may invade only to set Malorossians free from the Nazi or the Yanks or NATO.

Out of curiosity sj, what options other than sanctions has the West got? do you actually think the West would ever go to war with a nuclear power? it seems to me, that is your definition of lifting a finger, war. its a good thing the west is keeping council, because if they were to really pursue that option, then it will be the end of me, the end of you and pretty much the end of humanity. now, you could have a apocalyptic view of human existence, and most nationalists subscribe to that, but its a good thing those in the west don't. however, since Putin is unafraid of the West and so daring, why doesn;t he just go on and take Ukraine and 'liberate' Kosmet? after all, the West can't do a thing

I think Putin is being modest ,reality is it would take him less than a week in reality....the pro-Russian freedom fighters are destroying the entire Ukraine army.....I am noticing the Serbian army is in Kosovo also now ..I guess the west are getting scared of Russia , china , India and their friends.....this reminds me of the wars in former Yugoslavia ......the Serb rebels were fighting for their freedom all and yet outnumbered 10 to 1.........but the difference is the west could bomb the Serbs and Serbia because they are small and nobody was defending them at the time but now I think its going to be a different story....in the future...Kosovo is not going anywhere but I think the albaninas will ....RS will join Serbia since its 95% serbs .....and maybe even parts of krajina since those are old Serbian lands and never was Croatia./////

I think Putin is being modest ,reality is it would take him less than a week in reality....the pro-Russian freedom fighters are destroying the entire Ukraine army.....I am noticing the Serbian army is in Kosovo also now ..I guess the west are getting scared of Russia , china , India and their friends.....this reminds me of the wars in former Yugoslavia ......the Serb rebels were fighting for their freedom all and yet outnumbered 10 to 1.........but the difference is the west could bomb the Serbs and Serbia because they are small and nobody was defending them at the time but now I think its going to be a different story....in the future...Kosovo is not going anywhere but I think the albaninas will ....RS will join Serbia since its 95% serbs .....and maybe even parts of krajina since those are old Serbian lands and never was Croatia./////
