As if "good relationship with Russia" means anything! Even Slavs now understand what brotherhood with Russia means based on the events of recent months... they learned it the hard way.
Sure, everyone wants to live in the USA's pocket, that's the main benfit of 'EU assession.' And you can forget about a good relationship with Russia when you've sold your soverienity, just have a look at Germmany jump when the parrots at the USA's Department of State squawk 'jump' .. good luck with the Pentagon ruling your future Serbia, some would expect you would have known better
