Not at all. I judge every body individually. I just believe in my nations sovereignty and territorial integrity. Every self-respecting person believes in these very basic values. I also reject the notion that anything that a Serb did in the 90s in the name of Serbia can be logically compared to the war crimes of the German Nazis.

So I then ask you, what about the Albanians, Croats and Bosniaks? When Albanian criminals were kidnapping Serbian civilians and harvesting organs, did they not look at Serbs as sub-human? When Bosniak militias brought over thousands of ISIS-like Jihadists to slaughter Serbian infidels, they were doing it out of love, right? When Tudjman recreated the Nazi Republic of Croatia that overtly took heir to the NDH in the 90s, cleansing and murdering Serbs, this too evades your interest.

Your only interest is to focus on crimes that were allegedly committed by Serbs, but the amount of Serbian civilians that were murdered by German tax payer financed militias simply is not something you want to think about. I guarantee you that you have not spent more than a mili second even considering such possibility that hundreds and thousands of Serbs were murdered.

But they were. And nice try, Nazi. But you will not trivialize your nations sick and violent behavior in WWII with the Serbian nations fight for liberty from yet another German occupation.

Commie Parrisson and Willi pfaff are both out of their minds. These delusional EUphoric federalists believe that it is sane to compare the murderous German Nazis that killed millions to the Serbian nation and its campaign for liberty and independence during the Yugoslav wars. Hundreds of thousands of Serbian civilians were murdered and ethnically cleansed during the 90s, and you do not wish to acknowledge their deaths.
Ari Gold

Well Ari, the problem is that you and alike do not want to see what was done in the name of Serbia. That ethnic cleansing, massmurder, brutal inhuman behaviour was committed in the name of Serb nationalism, that Serbia displayed the same kind of 'Herrenmenschen' menality the Nazi's displayed. To you Albians for instance are sub human, and that says it all. That is fascist thinking and mentality. The majority of the serb public is past that thinking, but a few like you still live in that dreadful, psychotic and sick dream

German conservative politicians did that as well all, all the way up till the early 70's. They played the 'Vertrieben Karte' the Germans that had to leave Eastern Prussia, Poland, Sudenland, etc. and called it ethnic cleansing. But at the same time they also realized what was done in the Name of Germany during the Nazi Terror in Europe. The conciseness about what happened was there very soon after the war, but it took time to deal with it and for years you still heard slogns like, 'well, Hitler wasn't all bad, he build the Autobahns, gave us jobs', etc ..., but it still was a long and painful process for some people to really come to terms with what happened. For me as somebody from the post war generation there was never a question that all this was horrible, and we had the luck that the youth revolution of the 60's helped to make a big break with the past. Germany also was more proactive after the war in putting the ones responsible for it on trial compared to what Serbia does. The Auschwith trials for instance, which showed everybody what really happened in the consentration camps, and all the numerous trials which actually still go on. I have been saying this all along, this is an important process, without facing the truth you can not have a better future. This applies to Serbia and Kosovo as well.

(Comm. Parrisson, 25 August 2014 20:00)
The one mega huge fact that you and your fellow deniers always omit in comparison of Kosovo and the others (in this case Ukraine and Catalonia) is the fact that is that support for independence is not supported for simply separatist desires. In the early days Kosovo independence was not supported by anyone other than Albania. It took the scourge of Milosevic and the attempt of Serbia to totally cleanse Kosovo forever of the Albanian population. An act that caused the UNSC to issue a resolution unprecedented and unrepeated that removed all control of a country over a territory within its boundaries.
So in that situation with zero chance of a mutual agreement there were 3 choices, Kosovo as independent, Kosovo forever as a UN protectorate(not a sustainable option) or return the Kosovo people to the oppressive rule of the very same govt officials that supported and still maintained the Milosevic dream and allow the brutal extinction of a whole people within the European yard.
These are not the same set of circumstances facing the people of either Ukraine or Catalonia.

Ethnic minorities lived together peacefully in Yugoslavia, and it wasn't until Milosevic realized that by playing the national serb card he was gaining popularity and was able to live his sick dream. To me this is another example on how bad nationalism is and what it leads to. Hate, death, destruction and wars. Germany has seen it, and so has Serbia. That's what the EU ended, and that's what should be Serbias future as well.
Ari, I sometimes think that you never have been in a EU country, and you just judge it from what happened in 1999. Come to Europe, see and experience it with your own eyes, and I am sure you will see it in a different light if you are open minded. Another simularity bettween Serbia and Germany, that you most likly will not agree with is that a terrible war had to be brought into our countries to end ruthless dictatorships. Germany had to be bombed and destroyed at the end of WWII though that it's people realized what was done in their name. They had to learn how bad their country was and it took a long time to come to that point. Millions of Germans died in that cleansing process. Milosevic hat every chance to avoid that bombing campaign in 1999, but didn't want to because he was a dictator, and was posessed by nationalistic ideas. I drove back to Germany this past weekend, and I tell you, it felt so good to be back in Schengen EU after being forced to spend altogether over 8 hours entering or leaving Serbia at these horrible borders. That alone is one of the positive things about the EU. No more borders, not just for people, goods, cultural exchanges, but a free flow of ideas, people, everything.... Borders stop that, they are barriers, and I am glad Europe is getting rid of them and believe it or not, there is a big majority of people in Europe in favour of just that. The euroscepticism that you do find in all countries dominated by conservatives and right wing groups, and won't have a future. Ari, I agree that the EU bureaucracy lacks democratic structures, but it is only a matter of time till until they are transfered from national levels and the European parliment has more power. Until than the democratic checks and balances are being performed by individual states in the European council, where every state has a veto power. That's what makes it so difficult to find a common ground, but eventually Europe will have one voice. It doesn't mean that the cultural diversity will disappear, that will stay, and that is what Europe makes to stick out. We have a common ground, even we have different cultural backgrounds, and we made wars in Europe a thing of the past. Peggy, you forget that Milosevic ended the Juguslovia dream. The west will not allow Ukraine to bust up nor Spain. Not going to be happy about Scotland or Wales when their turn comes up because none of these will make sense so what was it about Yugoslavia that made it so unpalatable to the west that it had to go especially when Boania has to be preserved along with Croatia at all costs but Serbia had to be broken up. I get it now. Only Serbs are not allowed to have self rule and have to stay inside hostile borders or accept to be ethnically cleansed from thier historic lands.

"When it comes to dealing with its past Serbia right now is at a point where Germany was in the early 60's. The reflection on the past has started, and people had enough of the old BS."
(Willi Pfaff, 26 August 2014 14:08)

It has just started, and still Serbian politicians like to play the nationalist card and try to downplay the crimes committed by Serbia or Serbs by comparing them to the crimes that happened to them. It's like when a German president would mention the 100,000s of Germans killed and millions expelled in WW2 during a holocaust memorial celebration.

Ari Gold - stop believing your own propaganda. You might find it hard to come to a balanced realisation of the truth, but currently you are trapped in a mind warp from which you need to escape.
