There's nothing moral about the EU, US and their meddling in the Ukraine
(zorb, 22 August 2014 08:56)

Hmm, so are you saying that it is the EU and US which sent the Russia's troops in Ukraine?! Interesting....

Bob,

Don't let the Zorans and Dragans of B92 forums get you down. Just remember that the debate over Serbian politics takes place in a little empty cola can that lies crushed at the side of the road. Serbia is a small player in this large and tragic geopolitical showdown between East and West, and she is behaving exactly as one could predict - as her her nationalist supporters.

Pozdrav,
Nenad

Josip - wise words.

Much more sensible than the perpetual misguided ranting of frustrated nationalists that we continually have to read on this forum !!!

How about QUIETLY letting the private sector do what they can do to export and keeping the government out of it? Statements and travel by government officials promoting the opportunity to exploit sanctions was asking for trouble. And what is more valuable for Serbia? Joining a common market of rich democratic countries or trying to sell to a poor corrupt isolated dictatorship?

LOL! A "political and sustainable solution" means the EU and US control Ukraine and Russia stays out. Well, the good news is that we haven't heard anything about increasing sanctions on Russia recently. Looks like it has backfired, $18 billion a year of trade for the EU flushed down the drain.

Zoran,

Has it occurred to you that sanctions applied by the EU and the US on Russia have achieved their purpose.
Putin has retreated with his tail between his legs. If he attempts his usual underhanded tactics again, you can rest assured Russia will feel the rath of the West with redoubled effort and force till the little Armadillo faced
Vlad reaches for his bottle of Kayopectate again. Also, Serbia should be more grateful for the flood aid so generously donated by the EU and US. Keep in mind, aid from the West is not an entitlement Serbia should assume in the future. There is no such thing as a free lunch!

There's nothing moral about the EU, US and their meddling in the Ukraine and political boycott of the Russian market. So to them I say: shove it!

This is good opportunity which should not be missed. Serbia's farmers don't receive any subsidies from EU, what is the problem then?

Vucic, just stop bullshiting and choose one direction and stick to it. Stop behaving like a teenage showing the leg to every one in a club but at the end of the party going home alone .... Stop the national heresia and fake pride that already put one generation out of her ling and prosperity.... Stop the big mouth and have the ball to tell people what is really position of Serbia in the world, not what they think they are....

Question. Does Serbia have an armnament industry ? If so why not offer to sell to the Kurds. If they did that it would be very difficult for the EU bureaucrats to accuse Serbia of being anti west
Just a thought

"wanted to emphasize that this was more a question of morality and solidarity with the EU, "
--
Actually, it is the EU putting a leash around Serbia's neck and training the government to be good and obedient boys, which means any economic benefits Serbia has will be under EU control.

==
and noted that EU ministers said the goal of European sanctions against Russia was to "urgently achieve a political, sustainable solution" to the Ukrainian crisis.
