Watch out folks, this is the prelude to Kosovo recognition. Like the Russian ambassador stated, we need a government "with a spine."

Yes, but he did not explain what a "government "with a spine."" means... it simply means being a slave of Russia

It's not Albania's demand. Every year you beg the EU for money because you cannot pay your workers. Every year the EU gives you grants, loans etc. Those who give you money need to be payed back somehow. Since you can't pay them back in cash then at the very least they do not allow you to be a nuisance to them. As of now Serbia is a nuisance to its donors. The way they see it is like this. Kosovo is much more easily managed directly by them then if they had to do it through Serbia. Why? Because for sure there would be conflicts or even wars if it was under Serbia. When it is on its own there's no wars, and easier to manage both Serbia and Kosovo. Simple. Case closed.

Brian you are absolutely right Kosovo should be removed from Serbia's constitution since the very mention of that word fills most Serbs with utter contempt for what's gone on there for decades now. The area should be given a new name more in keeping with it's historical importance to Serbia and it's status as a occupied territory. Might I suggest "Yugulag" or maybe "Kidneyland"

Dacic was the same guy that "accidentally" signed the agreement that finally removed the pretenses against Serbia joining the EU. Of course we see that Serbia is not any more closer to joining the EU that it was before that. And Serbia hasn't given up anything in the process either.

When Dacic talks about changing Serbia's constitution, he could be talking about any number of things completely unrelated to Kosovo.

Removing Kosovo from the constitution is the final step in Kosovo recognition. There is nothing else left. It has ambassador dejan pavicevic, border guards, customs agents, international phone code, republic of Kosovo ballots, etc etc. no member of the eu can claim another in its constitution. What if Serbia ever had a leader who went by the constitution and send troops or police to Kosovo because kosovo is in serbias constitution? Of course all Serbs running Serbia now are strident supporters of Kosovo independence and will remove Kosovo from the constitution. The vote in parliament would be unanimous. Like in recent years maybe only a thousand people would protest in Belgrade. That's what happened when Serbia unofficially recognized Kosovo independence in Brussels. The last act that would be official and formal has to be removing Kosovo from serbias constitution.
