This comment of yours is the apotheosis of ignorance.If I came to your house, burned most of it to the ground, removed the head of the house by force, created a rift between siblings and occupied the house for several years, how well do you think you'd get on? The Dark Ages were also the result of a breakdown of centralized authority.. the Roman Empire.
