Just because some non-NATO countries participate in KFOR under a UN mandate doesn't mean it is not a NATO peacekeeping mission.

All peacekeepers of former Ukraine belong to the 79-th airmobile brigade that has been surrounded and after 32 days siege destroyed in ЮЖНЫЙ КОТЕЛ by the Russian border. So I think they are going to revive this brigade. Anyone can find this information in the Russian web. Outside Russia western mass media until resent we writing victory songs while 24 , 51 , 72 and 79 brigades were dying in the trap. Their average losses were 80-90% including the wounded and captured. Seems that Kiev is going to hide it losses by filling the brigades with new personnel. In extreme cases Ukrainians in Kosovo disgraced themselves. So their withdrawal can disappoint only the Albanian friends of mine.

Yesterday, Finland's Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb says NATO won't provide military assistance to Ukraine.

Today, Ukraine announces they will no longer support NATO's peacekeeping mission?

One of the big big ironies of this posting is though the displaced persons spoken of were almost entirely Albanian, as the Serbs who chose to leave Kosovo left after and because of the enactment of UNSCR 1244 as the Serb forces withdrew.

No one disputes the fact that the mission is under the authority of UNSC 1244. Your own quote states that NATO has been leading a support operation.

Maybe yes, maybe no, but if you actually read the article and not the headline then you will notice that Ukraine officers are remaining only the soldiers are being pulled, probably because they are needed more in peacekeeping within Ukraine rather than Kosovo.
Also it has already been determined that replacements will come from Hungary, which suggests that these activities have been in the planning for a few days. You have the luxury of being able to sit down to a computer and put your ideas down in a matter of minutes without thought. To the real world these things usually take time to arrange.
Do you not also think that maybe the article is timed to maybe, just maybe fuel thoughts like yours???
