But now I thing that the Russian have big advantage. We have better access to any information. If you mind it please describe the real military situation in Donbass. Then I’ll do the same to show you far you are from the reality. Then maybe you’ll make a step toward me.

ha, ha, ha... poor rote... do you really think that most people care about the military situation in Donbass, Donboss or Donbuss or whatever is called. If somebody told you that Donbuss is the center of the universe, you were grossly misled :) But please keep up the good job on informing the Russian populace about Donbuss because they need to be fed something.

Rightfully so. Neither NATO/EU, nor Russia, should be providing military assistance to either side. This only escalates the conflict and leads to more death and destruction. It's perfectly simple and logical.

This is a fight between Ukraine, who are trying to maintain their territorial integrity and the separatists, who are trying to fight for an independent state that will move towards Russia and not from it. Both sides have their arguments and should be the only ones fighting for their causes with no interference from either side.

Sadly, it is not like this and both sides have unofficially been helping their respective sympathizing sides and thus led to thousands of deaths and hundreds of destroyed homes, which shows that politicians from both sides are full of shit with their pacifist talk, because they are up to their elbows in blood in the name of their political interests.

Your rambling on is just that ... rambling.

Simply put, by the use of brute force, small and weaker nations are ruled by the imperial powers.

These same imperial powers turn a blind eye to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Syria.

Unites States and western Europe now use NATO, with its expansion, by selectively applying the rule of Law, throughout the world, when it suits their political and economic goals.

With or without a UN resolution, Euro-Atlantic NATO decides where they will interfere. The UN is incapable of providing equal rights for nations large and small.

Western European countries, with the west and NATO, will act according to their own perceived self interests, not what is in the best interest of Ukraine.

But I always wondered if the rumors of how Russians were brainwashed with the propaganda that flowed from Moscow. Now, I can be totally assured that what I heard then was and is 100% true. (a New Day, 19 August 2014 10:58)

• So it took you 52 years to understand such a simple thing ? What I think is that during the Cold War both sides were brainwashed. But now I thing that the Russian have big advantage. It is refreshing to see your posts. When I was growing up during the 60's, it was the height of the cold war. The fear of a nuclear war was prevalent in everyday life. More so where I grew up because I lived in the area where the atomic bomb originated. So we knew we would be one of the first targets of any nuclear attack.
But I always wondered if the rumors of how Russians were brainwashed with the propaganda that flowed from Moscow.

It’s been several days that western mass media were given command to start to tell some truth about the real status quo on the Donbass front. But many Europeans still expect a prompt victory of the Nazi forces. At least all Albanians here think so. This is why the Ukrainian appeal for military aid sounds amusing. Why should they ask if every day of the last 3 months they were persuading us of their soon and inevitable victory ?

Today former Ukraine have several military forces :

1/ Regular army (Poroshenko)
2/ Border Forces (Poroshenko)
3/ National Guards ( Batkivshina Party)
4/ Voluntary battalions (Kolomoisky)
5/ Other voluntary battalions (Klitchko , Liashko , Ahmetov)
6/ Lugansk army
7/ Donetsk army
8/ Vostok Brigade that fights the Nazi but backs united Ukraine.
9/ Pravi Sector (Yarosh)

All those forces are more or less independent. Initially Kiev’s main idea was to destroy Donbass and then make Crystal Night among the winners. Now that their military collapse is evident ( 7000 dead and 30 000 wounded , 60% of armaments lost) they seek for NATO support. The CIA supplies ( Hungarian tanks , Romanian and Polish planes and pilots ect. ) are not enough to stop the approaching Novorossian offence. So they are in panic and for the first time they ask for massive military aid. But in the west they are b*stards and not idiots to try to revive this dead body.

There are a few things you are missing or do not understand.
Lets take the situation in Ukraine, that is an internal military operation and NATO cannot go into Ukraine to help the govt to fight its own people, as they are not a member. However, if Russia actually attacks and NATO feels that is a threat to bordering NATO countries they can intervene. Or if they feel that it is a humanitarian need they can get vote among NATO membership to intervene to defend Ukraine from Russia.
Also by condemning Russia on its involvement and support of opposition forces, they cannot do the same thing.
Now to Serbia and Kosovo. When Serbia alleged it was trying to quelch opposition in Kosovo it would not have been possible for NATO to have offered assistance to Serbia. But when it became a humanitarian crisis as defined by numberous UNSC resolutions, then the NATO charter does allow for it to intervene as it did to stop the violent oppression and cleansing of the people of Kosovo.
So basically if NATO actually agreed with Serbia, it still could not have offered assistance.

Was Bosnia a NATO member? Was Kosovo a NATO member?
NATO bombs were raining on Serbia anyway.
Wasn't that long ago. I am surprised this man forgot that.

Finland's Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb has a selective memory.

NATO and the west drop bombs whenever they want to - membership is not required.

Minister Stubb should avoid the embarrassment and just tell the truth ...

... the EU cares more about their relationship with Russia than they care about the Ukraine.
