Serbia would harm itself with sanctions - ambassador

If Serbia imposed sanctions against Russia it would "shoot itself in the foot," Russian Ambassador Aleksandr Chepurin has told the daily Večernje Novosti.

What I got out of this other than a blatant threat against Serbia was that Russia is under the assumption that Serbia does not recognize Ukraine territorial integrity as containing Crimea, and should it state otherwise it just might see Kosovo as a UN member!

Please if you can explain to me how you come up with the garbage you write. I just am curious in the thought process of what makes you, you.

Yes but, will Russia always support Serbia??? Remember 1999 during our humanitarian bombing of Serbia, where was Russia then when you needed them most. They left you high and dry, not even a token Russian war ship in the Adriatic! If they are what you consider to be friends, then you won't need any enemies. Also, forget about the South Stream pipeline, the EU won't allow any work on it until Russia gives back Crimea to the Ukraine. If you haven't heard, Russia is entering a very deep and prolonged recession. And, if Russia experiences a recession, what do you think will happen to the Serbian economy.

Did Chepurin say Vukovar? I guess he is following the footsteps of Nikolic. This is good. Before you know it, Ruskies will tell Serbia bye,bye old friend.

I know I really shouldn't, but I have to ask.. what the hell does any of your comment mean? It's not even coherent, and the fact that you call yourself the truth is laughable. How is he "following in the footsteps of Nikolic" with his statement? I don't even get it...

And what part of this says that Russia will "wave bye-bye" to Serbia? What does that even imply? Is Russia going to slap sanctions on Serbia at a time when Russia is hoping for more exports from Serbia to make up for the shortage of food imports from the West?

Please if you can explain to me how you come up with the garbage you write. I just am curious in the thought process of what makes you, you.

"Kosovo and Crimea are different cases. Russia will continue to unequivocally support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia. We would like those who now require Serbia to recognize the integrity of Ukraine with Crimea - to first recognize the integrity of Serbia with Kosovo."

Perfectly said! The pure class of Russian diplomats is amazing. The US diplomats are filled with buffoons who know nothing, are completely ignorant of history, and whose only talent is reading off a teleprompter and following instructions from their neocon warmonger bosses. Ambassador Chepurin is just one example of the Russian diplomatic class who are running circles around their yankee rivals, and embarrassing them by exposing their obvious hypocrisy and stupidity (see the above quote :)). Keep up the great work Ambassador Chepurin, Serbia will always support Russia, for her destiny is our destiny.
Cheers!!

"The Kiev authorities have already de facto turned Donetsk into Stalingrad, Guernica, or, if you will, Vukovar," said Chepurin.
