Mr. Nikolic where were you in the 90's? This would have been helpful to all sides. It always seems like Serbians are decades behind in just about every political matter.
While you preach about how people suffer in eastern Ukraine, do not think for a second that countries are not aware of Serbia's involvement in Ukraine. There are former Serbians that participated in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo patrolling the streets of Ukraine. The very same Serbians that committed crimes on humanity no less than what we are seeing across middle east, Serbians continue to do in Ukraine. The hypocrisy has got to end at some point. I swear every time you open your mouth nothing but obvious lies come out of your mouth, and you could not convince a 5 year old much less anyone else. Just zip it dude, like take a pill that will shut your eyes for good.
1999 Bombing has done and taught good lessons to Serbs. Evidence is clear when you talk about it, so next time try to thank NATO for opening your eyes, and the lesson was "Just because you can do harm to others, it does not give you the right to do so. When NATO bombed Serbia you all received a taste of your own poison".

Where shall be the difference? Maybe that in Kosovo, it was not the regular Serbian army, but Serbian paramilitaries having gone against the own citizens (Kosovo Albanians were YU citizens) and not firing shots, but looting, raping and killing? While in Ukraine, the army is going against foreign mercenaries (mostly Russians, but, as we could read, Serbs, too) that came Ukraine for fighting?

Serbia is taking side.Serbia is on the russian side. And so it deserve to loose the EU friends.

Announcing a very dynamic diplomatic activity in the near future, Nikolić said that Russian President Vladimir Putin should arrive in Belgrade in October, and senior officials from China should come to attend the ceremony of opening a bridge over the Danube in Belgrade, built by Chinese companies in a project funded by a Chinese loan.

Mr Nikolic has discovered the true meaning of the word dilemma. Whatever he does is going to cost him something or he is going to get a very sore rear end sitting permanently on the fence. Sometimes in life doing the right thing means losing friends, that's how it is. If you don't want to take these difficult decisions don't run for high office. If all the job involved was eating fancy meals and spending taxpayers' money on yourself and your friends we would all want the post.

You seem extremely obsessed with Serbia. Vehement hatred is actually your minds twisted way of saying you love us. When has an American President really ever came to any of the Balkans? U.S. Presidents don't even visit NATO member countries unless there is a specific reason for them to go there. I think Obama has been maybe once or twice to Israel since he's been President, why would he come to Serbia?

What a stupid statement! If you don't take sides you are going to loose both friends. If you take side, you're just going to loose one, but make a stronger friendship with the other.

I think a prime example of the road for Serbia is what happens when a couple divorces. Friends of the couple do not want to choose sides in fear of alienating the other party. However, if you have ever been in this situation you know that remain amicable to both parties but actually become more of acquaintances and not what people call "friends".
You rarely see someone go shopping with one on Monday and out to the bar for drinks with the other on Thursday.

Countries have interests and we are lucky to have one powerful one we can call a friend.

If push comes to shove, stick with Russia.

You are correct in countries have interests, as far as being lucky having "your friend" can be better understood in one of the recent articles.
The one about it is not a good idea to examine too closely or release the details of the NIS deal as it will anger Russia. No one has taken advantage of a "friendship" anywhere close to how Russia did Serbia on that one.

Mr Nikolic, we don't have friends in the EU. Yes there are some countries supporting Serbia and not recognizing Kosovo but they are not powerful and with the exception of Greece are not friends but acquaintances.
Countries have interests and we are lucky to have one powerful one we can call a friend. Albanians are jealous because they don't have any they can call friends so that's why they have to come here day after day spewing their venom.
