New finanace minister announces budget review for September

Newly-appointed Minister of Finance Dušan Vujović expects the budget review to be filed to parliament for adoption early next month.

Great minds! Always going the path of the least resistance...why do we need a new finance minister to increase VAT? And we can see how hard the fight against the grey economy and corruption is...there is just no willingness for change. Why can you not do some internal controls (only as a very small start), i.e. mystery checks on traffic police men? Can you only imagine how many of them can be fired when you catch them putting the cash in their pockets? Why you don't go after the biggest tax debtors first and the ones who have ruined the remaining local banks, who of the biggest tycoons has declared and paid their Personal Income Tax?
