Families of kidnapped Serbs want indictments

An association of families of Serb victims in Kosovo has expressed dissatisfaction with <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/insight/pressroom.php?yyyy=2014&mm=07&nav_id=91127" class="text-link" target= "_blank">a statement</a> of organ trafficking case investigator Clint Williamson.

Most of these families of "kidnapped" Serbs know exactly where their loved ones are today, and speak to them quite frequently. They fled Kosovo in fear of war crime indictments and are living abroad under alias names, some with Albanian names of people they murdered and stole their papers.
Poetic justice would be if they were arrested for committing their own murders!

What about families of kidnapped and killed Albanians? Many more Albanians were kidnapped and killed than Serbs. Not going to mention Croats and Bosnians.

"because it is hard to find evidence"

It is hard to find evidence because there is no REAL pressure on the Albanians. There are no threats to make them give in - in either Kosovo or Albania. There is also no incentive for any of them to lead investigators to the remains or give other details.

If they were promised money and protection - perhaps a decent life for their families abroad - maybe some of the remains would be found or even documentation of the sales. I do believe some of the organs ended up in Italian or Israeli hospitals - both have been involved with illegal organ dealing with Albanians since the war. Of course those were cases when the donor was voluntary or sort of tricked into giving their organs and weren't kidnapped people or POWs.

Nothing is enough for serbs.
Albanians must be in jail, even there is no prove of organ trafficing.
A good albanian is a dead one-is their moto.
Keep going!

What is important here is that it looks like the West's fairy tale about Kosovo is coming to an end. There will be prosecutions and there is know an acknowledgement that crimes did occur. I doubted Williamson at first, but it seems from his report that he is sincere. He and others around the investigation said that there is no doubt some individuals had their organs removed but that it is really difficult to prosecute the perpetrators for this crime because it is hard to find evidence. That makes sense given the efforts these thugs went through to clean up the mess. However, he did mention how many people went missing and how many were killed. I think what will happen is what happens in most of these cases. The US generally starts by supporting thugs to get its way. Then, when it is discovered by outsiders that these individuals are indeed thugs, the US begins to distance itself from the thugs and the thugs end up in prison. That was the case of Noriega. It is actually a good day for Serbia and a bad day for crime loving Albanians. Let it be made clear, I believe that most Albanians in Kosovo can't wait to distance themselves from these thugs in power. All people just want to live in peace and safety, regardless of their ethnicity. I hope they can soon.
